I am having a fresh start tomorrow. For some reason over the last month or so I haven't really had the motivation to want to try to lose weight.

I weighed myself on Friday and I was 10 Stone 3lb. For my height and according to my Nintendo Wii Character I am overweight. I do just want to be Ideal.

Starting last weekend it was 24 weeks until the end of the year. I have split those into 4 sets of 6 weeks ending on

    1. Friday 25th August

    2. Friday 6th October

    3. Friday 17th November

    4. Friday 29th December.

I am going to use each of these days as mini progress points to see how I am going long term.

This week hasn't particularly gone very well. I have ate a lot of chocolate whilst watching films but also just to get rid of it. I have done no exercise as such.

If I can try and go to bed earlier by an hour I can get up earlier. I am aiming to get up at 5:30am. Workout in front of the TV for at least an hour before work. (DVD workout / YouTube / Nintendo Wii Fit). Then at night, an hour after tea go for a 2-3 mile walk. I want to set a target to do at least 15,000 steps a day.

I'm also off chocolate. It is my major weekness but I know I don't really need it. I don't. We have lots of fruit & veg here. I need to condition my head to head to those when I am in a picking mood. My brother swears by carrots for his go to snack.

I have had alot of "In The Zone" moments this year and false starts when it comes to exercising and losing weight. I do things for so long then I get out the habit. I do want it this time. I really do. I can do it!!! Just need to keep myself motivated. Keep in my head what I want to achieve and aim for it.

    June 10th
I had a pretty bad day food wise today. Buying Milka chocolate when in Birmingham was not the best idea neither was the millionaire shortbread I finished off this afternoon.

I think I always need one bad day a week when I just blow out. I'll do better tomorrow.

I'm on holiday this week and often when I day trip to places I'm too busy to actually stop and eat. If I have a big breakfast I often don't want much then until tea time. So fingers crossed I'll have a good week with lots of walking.

June 1st seemed the ideal time to start a new plan. I weighted myself this morning and am currently 10 Stone 1LB. For my height (5 ft 2 inches) I am overweight. I'm not after any dramatic loss but would love to get down to 9 Stone 7lb.
I have the Nintendo Wii Fit and my Mii "Tracy" character has been overweight pretty much the whole time i've had it. Well apart from 2011 /12 when something just clicked and I got down to about 9 stone 2.
So to start with I would just love to see my little Mii character at ideal. #Onwards&Upwards 😀

    July 17th - July 23rd
I really should fill this in everyday. I forget the little things. The quirky things.

Had a really quiet week this week. I haven't been anywhere interesting or really done anything out of the ordinary.

These Three Things made me happy everyday this week.

    1. Having me time. I have watched quite a few films and spent plenty of my time listening to Westlife. I realise I hardly watch any TV nowadays and apart from watching Neighbours

    2. De-cluttering. Yesterday I did manage to clear all the rubbish / clutter off my bedroom floor and to look at the empty space does make me smile. I am definitely seeing progress.

    3. My family make me happy every day. I would be lost without them.

    1. The stuff I ordered from Amazon yesterday turning up today. Bonus. I'm not even a prime member.

    2. Bacon sandwiches I cooked for lunch. I haven't had bacon for ages and I had some lovely soft crusty bread. So yummy.

    3. My uncle visiting with my cousin. They were talking about family history and looking at old photos. Was lovely to spend some time with them.

    July 16th

    1. Rewatching the last episode of Boy Meets World. Although it was sad as we've been watching a couple of episodes on sunday for months and I feel like i've watched them all grow up. It also made me smile because the episode was called Brave New World and it just made me want to strive to do better and not always settle. Something I find myself doing a lot of. I've got to stop being afraid of taking chances in case I fail or become disappointed.

    2. Walking with my friend and her dog Toby. He always looks so pleased to see me and I can't help but smile at him.

    3. Wispa Gold... Like chocolate heaven.

    1. Getting up early. Utilised the time to work out for an hour before work.

    2. One of my Dad's friends saving Dad's old wheelbarrow from the scrap man. I remember him pushing my brother and I round it when we were little. #HappyMemories. So glad it's still going to be used.

    3. The simplicity of a shower. So refreshing.

    July 11th

    1. Walking "3 Miles" with Leslie Sansone before 7am.

    2. Cutting through old magazines and saving articles. Been putting this off for ages but I really need to declutter.

    3. Making the choice of having a nectarine for an afternoon snack instead of biscuits.

    July 12th

    1. My colleague ordering her two together rail card on my advice after she realised it is going to save her money from just one journey on the train.

    2. Hitting my target of 12,000 steps by 12:30.
3 Mum fixing the cuckoo clock in the living room that hasn't worked fo0r over 12 months.

    July 13th

    1. The new boxes I brought to help declutter my room turned up today. Brown leather look and match the drawers I've already got. Filled one with DVDs and the other with some paper work. Think I'm going to order some more.

    2. Helping a colleague of mine move some work benches when the courier company used to deliver them decided to leave them at the end of the drive. Not ideal but we were able to smile about it.

    3. Walking 2 miles with mum. I'd have probably spent that time on twitter if I didn't get out of the house.

    July 14th

    1. Internet shopping.

    2. Cajun Crumb fish fingers for lunch. So Tasty.

    3. Watching The Little Mermaid. It's so wrong but Eric is very cute. How did they draw a cartoon that good looking.

    1. Waking up at 4:30am. Not all bad though. I'd watched the film "The Ugly Truth" before 7am.

    2. Going to the cinema to see Dispicable Me 3. I love Gru. He's a legend.

    3. Updating this while listening to classic Disney tunes through YouTube. Currently on Tangled - When Will My Life Begin Can pretty much relate to that most days.

    1. De-cluttering my room. No kidding it looks so much better. I actually have space to sit down on the floor and stretch my legs out. It even looks cleaner. Less out. Need to learn to put stuff away when I have it out.

    2. Getting fish and chips for lunch. Really fancied them as not had any for ages and they didn't disappoint. Shared a portion with my mum.

    3. The film Mcfarland, USA. Got super involved in this. I hated cross country in school but this film was so inspiring. Especially as it was based on a true story.
The hours the kids put in picking in the fields before they even go to school and the dedication they have to their families, community & the cross country team they have built. I was especially drawn to the character Danny. A little overweight he struggles at first and I'm going to use him as my motivation now for getting my exercise done each morning.

    Another Fresh Start.
I've set this up again using a book I created using Photobox.

    Pages I currently have

    1. My To Do List for the Month

    2. My Daily Exercise / Total Steps

    3. Weekly to do lists with 5 - 10 things on it. At the end of each week I'm going to do a paragraph on how well I did and what I could improve on.

    4. Movies I need to watch

    5. Films I have watched.

    6. A list of the amendments I want to make in an old book I wrote. This is for a bit of fun really but I thought it would be good for practice.

I don't want to over complicate it with too much as I often forget to fill it in. This way it concentrates on the stuff I want / need to do.

    1. Getting stuff done.

    2. Exercising / Losing Weight

    3. Writing

    4. And Watching More Movies.

    Day one.
I spend alot of time on Pinterest and this was one of the ideas I really want to try. I love making lists and ticking things off anyway but I also have a love of stationary, writing and in particularly journaling so this sounded absolutely perfect for me.
Having done quite well for about 2 months I kept forgetting to update it and eventually I lost interest. I've unsuccessfully attempted restarts this year but haven't managed to stick to it. So like with my lose weight goal I thought the 1st of June would be a good place to start.
Having this site will (fingers crossed) help me stay on track so hopefully this time I won't give up.

Right... OK... I might have actually forgotten how to knit but I'm getting better.
I'm attempting to knit a reindeer. It'll probably take me till Christmas to finish it.

You can type any date in plain English like in 3 weeks or next month.
You can also type in recurring due date like every day, every week and every month.
