@spyrunner On Face Book I read that Jerry Seinfeld died, that was a cruel April Fool's joke. I didn't laugh at that one.
I have read about people putting plastic wrap on the toilet seat as a cruel joke for someone to find.

@mchuggs when I had a job, one year a person used a rubber band in the office kitchen to secure the sink sprayer. When I turned on the sink to wash my hands, I got sprayed. I thought it was a clever trick and no harm done. The person who did it admitted it and we laughed together.

@spyrunner I heard about the one played on the telemarketer where when they call, pretend you are the police at the scene of a suspicious death and ask them when they came and visited the victim last. I've always wanted to do that one. If you can pull it off, at least one telemarketer will never call your number again.

@collectorofcats On our home phone, I have all numbers that aren't on our programmed call list blocked. And, I don't answer calls I'm not expecting or unfamiliar. That helps reduce the telemarketer thing.

I can't keep a straight face to be able to pull something like what you wrote off. I'd start laughing. But then, I'm not great with pulling pranks or jokes. However, if you need a budget, numbers crunched, a meal made, a workout done . . . I'm your gal!!!

@spyrunner I'm not much of a jokester or prankster. I did some dangerous things when I was in my less mature, younger days as a new engineer. I just resort to stupid puns. That's about as hard as I get.

My wife bought a Greek wine to go with our Greek Easter meal. I've never had a red Greek wine, but it was pretty tasty. I was hoping to read about Greece in my wine book before I finished the bottle, but I could not find it.

My son started a YouTube channel on gaming, now they are going to review My Little Pony episodes. Ben is 'Chrono' the horse with a fedora, bow tie and the pocket watch 'cutie mark'. My Little Pony is now pretty edgy and most of their fans are teenage boys. The intro is very professionally done by a few 15 year old boys.

    Moonlight

The movie Moonlight just came in yesterday from the library. My wife did not want to watch it with me as it was too violent and dark. It was really well made. I understand why it won.

I only have one movie left to see - Tom Jones from 1963.

    The Taming of the Shrew

This seems to be the play that Shakespeare becomes the bard. Although it is one of his earliest plays, he has great characters, some gem quotes, plenty of drama, and humor. The play starts with some people tricking a drunk into thinking he's a lord. They put on a play for him which is the Taming of the Shrew. That part of the play is completely dropped, and the play ends with the ending of the Taming of the Shrew.

    Edward III

I read this a few weeks ago and forgot to add it here. This is a disputed play, only because it was not included in the First Folio. It was probably dropped from that collection as it makes fun of the Scotts which is the birthplace of the reigning King James. The play adds plenty of drama at the beginning with the king pining for a married woman, but she tells him that she will not be a mistress with his wife and her husband still alive. That plot is dropped and the play plods along rather uneventfully.

    Titus Andronicus

This was my first unknown Shakespeare tragedy. I've read several, but they were all famous. It was also the bard's first tragedy. The story was rather unremarkable, but rather gruesome. It featured rapes, mutilations and plenty of revenge killings. Shakespeare does breath life into each character. There were no famous quotes, but the wording is quite pretty. I was going to add a picture from a play, but they were too disturbing.

    Two Gentlemen of Verona

This is regarded as the bards first play. He makes several small errors like leaving actors on the stage for long scenes without any lines. One of the gentlemen forgives his best friend who was just about to rape his future wife. Otherwise, it was a pleasant romantic comedy. I wasn't expecting jokes about cod-pieces in it.

    King John

On Friday night I was going to watch TV with my wife, but my daughter was in the dining room and needed some quiet time. I went to my bedroom and started listening to BBC's performance of 'King John' as I read along on my Kindle. I finished it Saturday morning. The plot was a little convoluted. The scene with Hubert and Arthur was very intense.

@tarrador Reading and Listening to Shakespeare is an efficient way to plow through the plays. The first time I read one of his plays it took me hours and hours. I would get stuck on what a word or sentence meant, or my mind would wander. I would often forget who is speaking.

The bad part about reading and listening to the plays is that there are some gem that I would like to reread, but it was too awkward to keep starting and stopping.

@spyrunner i should try the read and listen because inevitably the language can be a bit much just read, or just listened-to/ it's like following symphonies with the score which is way more fun than just listening (or just looking at scores!!)

@ahorrasi You should add the goal. I was trying to read one play a year, but I missed two years in a row. I figured I better read them quicker than that if I want to complete them all before I die. I read this play over two days - which I've found works well. An hour of intense reading is about my limit. I'm now trying to read a play a month, but I'm doing just slightly more than that. The reading is much easier when you listen along with it.

    Pooh's Heffalump Movie

I finally finished the last of the Pooh movies. This one started out a little predictable, but I started enjoying it the longer I watched. I only have 9 more movies to see. My wife wanted to see three of them with me, some are seasonal (1 Christmas, 2 Halloween) and the others do not have French.

    Treasure Planet

I watched this movie a few weeks ago. It had plenty of skips in it, which was very frustrating. I watched this in French with English subtitles. This is a futuristic take off of Treasure Island, one of my favorite books.

@spyrunner I love all the Disney movies. My granddaughter used to make me watch her favorites over and over until I knew the words as well as she did. She's grown up now and had a daughter of her own. I think one of my presents to her should be a Disney movie for birthdays and such.

Peter Pan, Wreck-It Ralph, Secret World of Atlantis

I absolutely loved Wreck-It Ralph. It's one of my favorite Disney movies. I could only get Secret World of Atlantis in English, probably because some of the dialogue is in a made up language 'Atlantice'. It would have been tough to figure out what was the foreign language and which is alien. I finally watched Peter Pan - I think it is my 7th movie with Tinkerbell. She's more like she was in the book than in the other movies - extremely jealous.

    4 More.

I watched Dinosaur (2000) which had great animation, but seemed to imply the dinosaurs survived the meteor. I also watched Recess: School's Out as well as Teacher's Pet. I could only get these two movies on-line and in English only.

I enjoyed watching James and the Giant Peach.
