    3—Got rid of a bulky safe that we'd not been using for years. It freed up some much needed shelf space in the garage.

    2—I've already made a good dent but I'll start counting from here.

    I'd forgotten that I'd gotten rid of some book into a neighborhood tiny library. Hopefully they will make some enjoyment for some other people.

    Out with the old.

    We had a great purge when we moved to our current property, but downsizing from 2000 sf to 1000 was difficult and after a while we just started stuffing things in places. Our garage is overflowing. Our shed is full of stuff we dont seem to use. Its time for a serious spring cleaning. I'm well underway.

    As with everything in my life right now, work and personal I need to start cleaning things up.

    Dropped off some clothing and house wares at good will last week. A bike rack we've not sued in probably 15 years is getting a new home soon. I've returned some items to my brother that have just been sitting unused in the garage for 8 years. Its time to streamline things and move on.

    Gratitudes Oct 9, 2017

    Today I'm grateful being alive at the same time as what was a shining being in my life. 20 years.

    I'm grateful for tears to remind me of how dear memories are

    I'm grateful for my small mementos

    I'm grateful for the patience, the lessons, the selfless love and jealousies that were mine alone.

    I'm grateful for the life I've been afforded, with both the joys and sorrows it has given me.

    Today I'm grateful for 43things coming back on line. This site had been such a big part of my life that I actually got teary when I heard the news that they were going off line. I hope I can use this to refocus myself again on what is important.

    I'm grateful for a warm house on these blustering days

    I'm grateful for what is provided me while I try and get my business back to profitable

    I'm grateful for the animal knowledge that I often take for granted.

    I'm grateful for what seems like a rare cloudless day. Its lovely out hopefully I can concentrate on work today.

    Well, I used to LOVE boxing bootcamp and HIIT classes and all sorts of high impact high cardio classes. I would have told you I was in great shape until my knees told me to quit. I was at the point of modifying everything I was doing and it didn't make sense anymore to even bother going to those classes.

    Well I went to a kick boxing class yesterday. One of the first times I've done a cardio class like that in probably 4 years. I wont say it was easy but I'd stand to bet I kept up better than most of the regulars there and I'm including the hard-core regulars. My recovery time was short, I was fatigued hitting the heavy bags but I didnt find it hard. My pushups were probably better than they ever have been and honestly, its the Lagree Fitness that is to blame. I was worried that the slow pace, mostly strength training and minimal cardio wasn't as good for me. Well I've been doing things wrong pretty much every year before finding this. Had I the money to pay for a specialty gym this goal would have been long gone before now.

    I'm really liking the sculpted definition I'm getting and I'm stronger than I've probably ever been. I still have a long way to go on my weaker areas, but considering the decades it took for me to move incorrectly its going to take a while to get things corrected. I'm all in.

    Me and the SO got on a nutrition plan for 8 weeks. Its literally changed the way we eat and shop for food. It was totally worth every penny we paid to get on the plan. Our outrageous eating out budget was also cut down to a fraction. & good timing with work being so incredibly slow. The SO dropped about 16 lbs half way through without even exercising. I'm back to eating more often and smaller portions. Great because my blood sugars aren't going up and down like before. I'm only down a few pounds but I'm also building a lot of muscle. I'm stronger so the scale isnt my guide.

    I do think I need to start adding more cardio into my workout regemine but otherwise the Lagree Fitness is getting me to this goal. All the floundering I had for so many other years I've been chasing this goal is pretty much gone. Glad I'm seeing progress and have refocused on this. The SO pointed out my 6 pack before leaving for work today. Now I just need to get rid of the fluff I've got over my muscles and continue working on my weaker areas.

    I love good food, and I love good drink. That is why this goal eludes me.

    I'm ok with that. My progress has been marked even if slow.

    Funny thing is that I went to a restorative yoga class this weekend after realizing I was VERY tight and needed to work out some knots.

    I came home with a burst blood vessel in my eye. Crazy. I do everything hard, even relaxing apparently

    I'm embarrassed on how long I've had this goal. Though I suppose if it was my job to get in shape I'd be able to get this knocked off quickly.

    Fortunately, ClassPass and Lagree Fitness is getting me there, slowly but surely. I can tell the changes in my body even if the scale isn't moving I definitely stronger. I'm also starting to work through my chronic pain. I'm sleeping better too.

    I signed up for Dulingo again. It told me my Spanish Fluency was 50% HA! Apparently I'm just a very good test taker 😃

    I'm no where near that fluency. My German tested in at 30% and that is much stronger. So I'd say I'm closer to 20% in Spanish, if that. Anyway, I'm trying to start the Spanish program but I'm having much more fun with the German. Completely impracticable where I live but my dogs will enjoy we speaking to them.

    I'll hunker down and get rolling. My spanish fluency should be 100% considering where I live.

    Since adding this goal, I'm def more cognoscente of this. I think I'm going to discuss with another ENT doctor. I have some sinus issues that I know are an issue. I'm hoping there are other ways to help as well.

    To torture myself. I told myself that I wanted to beat my last time. It was awful so that should be easy. First I need to be able to run without being in pain. I think all the fitness training I'm doing will help but I've still a long, long way to go.
