https://www.wired.com/2017/01/2017-year-twitter-learns-thrive-dies/ Here is a more current article about the potential demise of Twitter.
As I said in the post above, I have been on and off Twitter for almost 10 years trying to find my voice..and I'm still at it! Today I read this article about how Twitter may eventually be no more anyway. I won't be too happy if I work hard to build a presence...and then it all goes down the drain.
2/12/17 I've been on Twitter off and on since 2008. I've had at least 3 accounts. With my latest, I'm not following everybody like I used to. Instead I'm only following a few (about 150) people right now. The problem has been my lack of focus. I need to find out on Twitter, who am I?
@stephanie I started a Twitter account years ago back when everyone followed everyone and it was easy. I probably had 1000 followers, but as you said, most of them were marketers. I got fed up, deleted that account and started over. I found it more useful to focus on the #s and the @s and lists are a wonderful tool. I love my Twitter lists!! And I only follow people after I've checked out their feed and find it interesting. I have about 140 followers and I'm enjoying Twitter much more now. What is your Twitter name? I'll follow you. I'm "silverblossom4"
@stephanie yes it does get to be #toomuch
@silverblossom Twitter replaced 43T and I'm happy with the group of friends I've gathered there. I've noticed Twitter seems to be different than other similar social media in that I feel like there are endless different ways that people use it.
@librarysteg That is awesome! I have not been as successful with tweeting as I have been on the goal setting sites. I went to Popclogs when we lost 43things.
@silverblossom I tried Popclogs as well, but never really got involved.
Did anyone mention the quotes? I ca't remember exactly how it was done but there were always new quotes on the old 43things site that were related to my goals and I would post them with my updates. Would be nice if that feature were here as well.
@silverblossom great idea! I didn't see that on the feedback page just yet
I want to:
Meditate on a Beach
Mindful 'til day's dawn
heart melts in the sun

I love how this page turned out, good job on it.
The secret is juicing-- you can put an entire salad AND fruit plate in a cup and drink it in 10 minutes!
We joined a food coop years ago and they deliver way more food than we can possibly eat so juicing became necessary.
A juicer or blender and lots of fruits and veggies
I take either an apple, pear or grapes with me to work every day to snack on.
Just make sure you get enough apples, fruit etc to last through the week and enough time in the morning to cut up the apple if that is what you prefer.
grocery store or fruit stand
I would just go to to the organization with my resume or apply.
I made sure that my volunteer opportunities would teach me something and that it was something I was interested in and also something I could add to my resume.
Over the years I cut out one thing at a time.
I would go on "no junk" and "no meat" fasts for 30 and 60 days to practice.
allrecipes.com is a great resource. The more you cook your own food, the less junk and fast food you will eat.
After saving, it will be sealed for 2 years. Are you sure you wrote everything you want?
Changing the goal title is basically creating or joining another goal. All your activity and media will move to the new goal.
Removing this goal from your done list will delete all it's activity and you will not be associated to this goal anymore. Try edit this entry instead
I truly believe Augustine’s words are true and if you look at history you know it is true. There are many people in the world.
