    I've not been doing particularly well with IF over the last week or so :(
    Just read @katayah 's entries on fasting and I'm feeling motivated again. Tomorrow! no food before dinner!! :)

      @runwim wow thanks, I feel honored! fasting works wonders! I'm really bad at IF in the morning, it's much easier for me to have a hearty breakfast, a light lunch and fast from there until the next morning as the longest fasting part (sleeping) is unconscious and then you eat haha πŸ˜ƒ but there are people who tend to skip their breakfasts and they're perfectly fine! good luck, fingers crossed! :)

        @katayah For me it's important to have a family dinner, so I won't skip that. On the other hand, I get up before the rest of the family and I often exercise during my lunch break at work, so it's easier to skip those meals. And I obviously don't eat while I sleep ;)

    This morning I tried @rainbowssparks 's idea of (1) having no distractions while eating and (2) putting down cutlery while there's food in my mouth. Having a bowl of cereal and a glass of water took almost 20 minutes, I was enjoying awareness of the whole experience and thinking that 12 minutes worth of cereal might be enough...
    Lunch was with colleagues, so more focused on them that on the eating experience. Mixed feelings about that. Is the social aspect of eating a good or a bad thing (and to what extent good or bad)?

      @runwim different social setting but I've read many times that eating meals together as a family is one of the most important things you can do to strengthen family ties. So I suppose it depends on how much you value the social ties in question.

    When I set this goal I was thinking of one thing in particular: break my fasts properly, as in eat a little bit and then wait for the next real meal (and not devour handfuls of peanuts etc.) This is a real must as I want (intermittent) fasting to be a healthy habit!
    Now there's a second thing to improve: put down cutlery when there's food in my mouth (thanks @rainbowssparks for mentioning it!). This habit should help with awareness of what and how much I'm eating.
