    The opportunities are vanishing very fast. I have to put up a fierce fight against time and other distractions to achieve this goal. Getting a regular job in 5 years has no meaning at this stage. The process can be broken down into three parallel processes.
    1- Identify and apply for jobs
    2- Upgrade knowledge and
    3- Increase the quantifiable achievements
    Even if you can do it, no one will accept it until you have previous experience or results to prove the capabilities required. Therefore a proper plan is needed, and its time to jump into a quick action plan. If I am unsuccessful in finding a regular job within next 3 months, starvation could be in my agenda.

    Move to organizing the mostly untouched area of storage yesterday. Did a partial sorting and got 50% of my storage room organized. Need to finish the remainder within next two days. Will allow nothing to go in bags again , if possible. Everything should go in packaging, or on the shelves.

    Learned one lesson on keeping things clean today. My friend replaced the printer, and immediately disposed the old one. This way no accumulation of stuff, which cannot be used.

    I found that Python is a very attractive freeware which can be used easily, and even to program difficult tasks. This instantly became a great motivator for me to learn Python. Specially when I read that $50 worth Raspberry PI computers can be programmed with it.

    Over the last 1-2 months, my weight went up by 5 lb approx. With the app I was using to count steps (withings) changing its ownership (now Nokia), I find that new system is less user friendly and may be that I'm happy now for not buying one of their smart watches (withings activite?) to monitor my activity. With this issue, I had started neglecting my progress. But I am determined to get back into reducing my weight to 165 lb by 31 dec 2017. I'm not going to buy any monitoring apparatus until my weight hit 165 lb.
    The only effective method is to EXERCISE. Dieting will only help to maintain.

    338 people are doing it as of 2017-sep-08, but noone has done it yet. So there must be something wrong in the method everybody goes around this goal. Cutting meals won't help beyond few pounds because I'm already on a healthy dietary style. So the best thing to do now is to exercise. I should atleast try to bring my weight down to 165 lb by end of this year 2017 if I'm to live. Ha ha.

      @priyantha I need to get more organized about this one. I'm working on it, but I don't count calories. I use a fitbit and that helps. I'm thinking of entering what I eat on it, but I've done that before and it takes more time than it's worth sometimes. I'm eating less and not snacking. Part of the problem is that I'm a diabetic and every medicine they have you on for that is designed to keep weight on or add new weight so that you will always have to have their medications. I'm serious. So part of this is trying to get off the medicines as well as lose weight. Even though I'm eating less, not snacking, exercising, etc, I still haven't noticed any weight loss.

    One of my friends has been maintaining his weight constant at 155 lb for more than 35 years now. This means its possible to do. Perseverance is the key to success in achieving this goal.

    Too many fluctuations around this mark, but still maintaining it as an average value. The aim is to reduce my weight to 150 lb or less by the end of this year 2017. Now 177lb.

    I don't want to limit my writings to one language. Thinking in a different languages allows you to think of the same thing in different ways . So I re-started composing short poems in English too. I need to find a forum to put them, in order to get a feedback.

    This goal was on my mind, but never thought of doing it this way until I saw this as a tough goal of another 43Things user. Now it will begin, and this will help me to read about 15-20 books over the next few months. I will group the studies in to few sub groups and prioritize before starting to read them.
