@hopeslife You should join facebook groups that are related to your blog, then to post your articles in these groups, but your posts should be able to go viral. Most suitable blog niches for this are: Entertainment, Sports, Health, Cars etc. you can also post in reddit.com and other social media. My friend has ~10k daily hits on his blog by doing this.

Oh wow, I really need to work on this! I'm not a huge fan of the taste of toothpaste, (there's just something about that overly chemical-like taste.) The hygienist said I didn't have to use it, (yay!) She said all that does is contain floride, and I can get that with a floride rince. She said it doesn't matter if I get the adult one or the kid's bubblegum one, it still contains the same amount.

OMG! I really want to go to Freedom Fest next year! Thing is it's like $800 per ticket plus airfare, motels, food, and special events. Not only that but whatever else you want to do in Vegas. Lol I think I'll need like $3000-5000 saved up, Just for the trip. If I do end up going, I'd like to take Melissa with me so I'd also need to pay her time, her airfare, and her motel room as well. It will be an expensive trip, but worth it!

I know I can't make up all the days I've missed so I'll try to make an extra long list of things I'm thankful for. Lol I'll probably only get to 10 or so but I'll try anyway.

    1. That the cat I had a year and a half ago, and that my parents just gave back to me to cat sit has slowed down a bit. He no longer destroys everything he finds and he's doing better, although not quite good enough for me to get continuous sleep at night.

    2. My health conscious friend who I mud with and talk on Skype with 3-4 times a week. He's teaching me the evils of everything I like lol.

    3. The fact that I'm turning 34 in a couple days and I'm going out of town for a day trip.

    4. The fact that I got TOR to work extremely well, (https://torproject.org,) for those who have no idea what TOR is.

    5. For the deep and obscure web, and not just the .onion sites you can access with TOR.

    6. for alternative search engines like GoodGopher, (http://goodgopher.com, (Yippy, https://yippy.com/,) and DuckDuckGo, (https://duckduckgo.com,) because they get me passed the surface and let me see, well the deeper and lesser-known things.

    7. For my adblocker, because it's helping me spin the web safely. I have everything blocked, including social media trackers.

    8. For this goal, for keeping me on my toes and coming back to 43things. Must try to be more active here!

    9. Early morning cups of tea.

    10. The fact that MR. Kitty wakes me up around 5 in the morning, so I can enjoy those early morning cups of tea.

    11. The fact that I love to test new things all the time. I've even offered to be an accessibility tester for developers. Accessibility is relative though, but if I can navigate your site successfully, and use all the functions, it's probably fine, even if it won't validate. If anyone of my 43T friends is building an interesting webapp they'd like tested, either post the link in the comments or PM it to me. This goes for the 43T devs also. I'm willing to test anything you throw at me.

    2. I'm grateful that it was Sunday, I love weekends!

    1. Private search engines, like DuckDuckGo!

    2. Alternative ones like http://goodgopher.com.

    3. Those obscure blogs you find when searching things that aren't Google.

    4. Early mornings. Unfortunately I didn't have one today, will try to do better with that tomorrow.

    5. The fact hthat I have all my blog content going back to 2009, well for my personal blog, that is. It makes it easy to reference things when necessary.

OK, so I applied for the new Amazon rewards Visa card today. I'm so excited because I'm going to be able to do many things with the $2000 limit they gave me!Here are some that I came up with.
    1. Shopify!
    2. A shopify theme.
    3. A WP theme for my sites. I'm actually looking at buying 2 of those because I have so many sites!
    4. The domain for my Shopify store.
    5. More domains! Because I'm an addict.
    6. Possibly my new phone. Lol if they don't charge me $1000!
    7. A chromebook, because ChromeVox, which is the screen reader for those, is getting to be pretty good, or so I've heard.
    8. Another site off Flippa, hah!
    9. I'll be able to sell a domain on Flippa.
    10. A bluetooth speaker/keyboard for my new phone.

    1. Nature Box! [http://naturebox.com]*

    2. More Kindle books!*

    3. An audible subscription.*

    4. bookshare.org renewal.*
Lol, I had no idea that I was going to put 14 extra things on the list! Oh yeah, and I know, not all at once.

OK, here's the one I came up with for today. It's my blogging to-do list.
    1. Establish an editorial calendar/posting schedule.
    2. Build the about me page. It was built when I was at the old host, I forgot to export content so I lost it. Lol just did that today after I made my list.
    3. Start a newsletter.
    4. Figure out how to make videos accessibly. As in, what can I use to make them?
    5. Build the affiliate disclosure policy page.
    6. Join affiliate networks.
    7. Set up ads. Try adsense, but also set up a couple of the alternatives.
    8. Install a social sharing plugin.
    9. Create a logo for the blog.
    10. Add Twitter and Facebook widgets.
    11. Generate more post ideas.
    12. Publish some of the lists I make. I just posted the daily habits one a couple hours ago.
Lol OK, that went to 12! Hah I didn't expect it to do that.

OK, this is what I mean. Here's my first list of 10 daily habits I'd like to start/keep.
    1. Pray every morning and evening.
    2. Make these lists daily!
    3. Read the bible everyday.
    4. Learn something new.
    5. Daily blogging, well at least 6 days a week anyway.
    6. Surrender my life to God each morning.
    7. Go back to drinking coffee daily. There's just something about coffee that says, "I'm ready to start the day!"
    8. Exercise every weekday.
    9. Start bible journaling again.
    10. Read books other than the bible.*
Well tecnically I did this a few days ago so will still have to come up with one for today, but this is a good example.

So this comes from the "write 10 ideas everyday" thing. I saw an article somewhere, (I can't find it anymore,) that said to just make a list of 10 things about anything! I've done this a couple times already, but I'd like to get into a daily habit. This will help me with my "Journal daily" goal, making a list is easier for me than just writing a long entry about whatever, for some reason.

    4. Joined an internet marketing course. Lol I've been blogging since 2003, but I didn't care all that much about SEO etc, now I'm really enjoying it!

    5. Setting up a savings account online. When I set up my first account, I went into the bank to do it. I was 17 then. I'd long since closed that one, so I set up an ABLE account last month.

Ok, so I get asked lots and lots of questions all the time. Lol but now I need to ask a question of my own. Why do people ask the same things, over and over, without fail, all the time? When someone read my profile on gab.ai and it says I'm blind at first he didn't believe me. Then he asked if he could ask some questions and I said sure, but let me give you a link to a blog series I did where I answered the most common things people ask. I gave him this link: http://hopesthoughts.blog/2015/10/ that link has 31 days worth of questions in it. Some I answered together, some separately. Apparently, he didn't look very hard because the questions he asked after that were "how do you use the internet?" and "can you picture things if described? Those are both questions I answered in the series.

My latest thing has been to contribute to this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/webdev/comments/6lt6sq/ada_compliance_and_your_website_should_you/ You can read my comments there, (Reddit username is webgurl83.) In short, I don't think people should be worried legally about accessibility. Mostly because if you're designing for mobile friendly, you'll most likely be fine. Not only that but if I can navigate your site, it's probably fine, even though it most likely won't come close to validating.
I also took the time last week to listen to the American Counsel of the Blind anual convention. Don't get me wrong, there were a few resolutions and positions I disagreed with. I'm Libertarian, so asking for more federal funding for anything is a bad thing! However, it was good to be updated on what lots of companies are doing when it comes to access, and there are more than a few major companies working on it. I invite anyone here to ask me anything! Look at this thread first though, https://www.reddit.com/r/Blind/comments/55wzgp/how_do_blind_people_use_reddit/?st=j4wcdbzc&sh=d9a76938

Right now, I'm trying to hip mom to the fact that I don't have non-24. I do however have insomnia, and when I get headaches, sleep is usually out of the question. Lol right now, I have what I like to call "internet I don't want to go to bed syndrome." Lol because I've been up until 2 or 3 for the past couple weeks just looking at things. Here's a Wikipedia article about non-24. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-24-hour_sleep%E2%80%93wake_disorder Some people may think that insomnia is involved in the symptoms of non24. However it isn't and it shouldn't be. Insomnia while staying on a completely normal schedule is not non24. It does involve waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep. You then fall asleep at strange times during the day. A lot of people don't understand how bad my headaches can get, so they think me waking up in sheer pain and not being able to go back to sleep again, because my brain feels like it's going to burst out of my head, is some form of non-24.

    Non-24-hour sleep–wake disorder
Non-24-hour sleep–wake disorder (non-24), is one of several chronic circadian rhythm sleep disorders (CRSDs). It is defined as a "chronic steady pattern comprising [...] daily delays in sleep onset and wake times in an individual living in society." Symptoms result when the non-entrained (free-running) endogenous circadian rhythm drifts out of alignment with the light/dark cycle in nature. The sleep pattern can be quite variable. People with a circadian rhythm that is quite near to 24 hours may be able to sleep on a conventional, socially acceptable schedule, that is, at night. Others, with a "daily" cycle upwards of 25 hours or more may need to adopt a sleep pattern that is congruent with their free-running circadian clock, shifting their sleep times daily, thereby often obtaining satisfactory sleep but suffering social and occupational consequences. The majority of people with non-24 are totally blind, and the failure of entrainment is explained by an absence of photic input to the circadian clock. These people's brains may have normal "body clocks", but the clocks do not receive input from the eyes about environmental light levels, as that requires a functioning retina, optic nerve and visual processing center. The disorder also occurs in sighted people for reasons that are not well understood. Their circadian rhythms are not normal, often running to more than 25 hours. Their visual systems may function normally but their brains are incapable...

OK, so I posted a link on Facebook to a post about these: https://coolblindtech.com/orcam-glasses-help-the-blind-read-any-printed-material-and-even-recognize-faces/ It's the same link I'm giving you right now. Someone reacted as "sad." I commented that I'm a naturalist that is, I believe God made me the way I am for a reason. However, that doesn't mean I can't use tech to augment things and make life easier. It would be cool if people could get over the misconception that being blind is this sad, bad thing.

I might put this one on hold for a while. Because the guy my family goes to for their tattoos is booked out until next May. Not only that, but mom thinks I won't live through getting a tattoo because of the pain. I might have to do it in secret without them knowing.

OK, I've been asked to share links to my blogs, (if that's OK.) I'm moving a couple of them to a new host, (well the move has already taken place,) and I managed to loos the content for one because I forgot to export before leaving, (don't worry, it was only 5 posts!) So here are my personal blog and my linkblog, for now. http://lifes-adventures.me is my personal blog, and http://webgurl.me is the now fairly neglected linkblog! I'll probably post a couple things tonight.

@Queen Purrs Like A Kitten  I will but which one? Lol, I have 4. I'm in the process of moving a couple of them to a different host, so content will be thin. Tell ya what, I'll give you links to my personal blog and my linkblog, then when I get a few more posts on the other ones, I'll share them. If you read my entry on the "Describe my life since the old 43T times goal," I do share a couple of them.

Lol, I decided to take on a project! I'm reading 2 translations of the bible. One I downloaded from the Kindle store, and the other I got from bookshare.org. The daily email thing hasn't been working all that well for me, so I decided to try it this way.

I just finished Sensable Shoes! I'm all prepared for the Readathon next weekend, except for the fact that I haven't gotten the book yet, because I'll be tempted to start reading before next Saturday.

I'm on Chapter 5 of Sensable shoes. I'm going to participate in the 24 hour readathon next month. I'll be reading 1984, and another book I haven't chosen yet, (just in case 1984 isn't long enough to last the entire 24 hours.

Some days are better than others, but I'm definitely trying to work on this. Trying to eat more fruit with and for breakfast, to have my caregiver cook more fresh foods etc.

I'm actually doing better at this! I love frozen bananas and blueberries! I've also eaten plain carrot chips a few times, I do like those.

You can type any date in plain English like in 3 weeks or next month.
You can also type in recurring due date like every day, every week and every month.
