    Yikes
    I knew that I have not had as much interest in food over the past few days, but I was shocked to find out that I've managed to lose 4 pounds in the last 5 days.

    I have come to realize over the past few days that I am much worse than I had previously realized. It turns out that selective memory and forgetting is a mental self defense coping measure, so I have been brushing it aside and forgetting for way too long. A few days ago as suggested I started keeping a log of things and now if feels as if I am really crashing. I am not sure if this is because I am simply becoming more aware or if being more aware is making me more depressed.

      @celticchristian You will overcome. Funny thing that unexpectedly helped me a lot. I took a course in university on memory and the short story: Memory is very, very inaccurate. So most of the stuff you remember happening is very skewed and way open to questioning. So all the stuff that we go to that validates our 'sad feelings' didn't actually happen the way we think it did.

      Two things that I found important with this cognition: One - devalue the importance of the memory; Two - feel free to edit for your benefit.

      I know the second one sounds a bit strange. But Bush does it all the time and he became president and from all appearances has a very healthy self image. Something to think about

    Today was really good progress as I only had raw vegan meals today. Although I am starting to wonder if I should have been tracking my calories as I may have under eating today. Today I had a blender of smoothie (4 dates, 1 Tbs shredded coconut, 1 seaweed sheet, 2 frozen strawberries, a handful each of frozen papaya, mango and pineapple chunks) and a watermelon - yes the entire watermelon but one of the small round ones.

    A date has been set
    In the fall I will be teaching an adult Sunday School unit on prayer. After a few weeks of looking around at various books and teaching material sets I have yet to find something that fits my needs. So I decided to write my own book to base the class around. Now that I have a firm date set as to when I need to have a refined draft fit to share with others.

    I just discovered a new app called PhotoScan from Google which produces very easy and good quality scans of your pictures without the problem with glare and off angles common when you try to take a picture of a picture. It works by guiding you how to move your phone over the picture and is available for both Android and iPhone. Assuming you are not after super high quality images to blow up into a poster this app is a huge time saver as it does a good enough job much faster than a computer scanner.

    Yesterday was a very good day so I was up to a little cleaning. I got rid of 24 books and 3 magazine or:
    Day 13 - 13 books

    Day 10 - 10 magnets

    Day 12 - 6 books and 6 unopened Bible character toys designed for very young children
