I am working on two novel manuscripts at the moment, and thinking of pursuing traditional publishing if I can. Pitching to an agent would be first on that list once I have something I can share at all. Self-publishing would be a possibility... provided I'm up for being able to handle all the demands involved - marketing, editing, revising, sensitivity readers as needed, book cover, back cover summary, etc. The marketing itself is what intimidates me.

The best advice I've every gotten about writing is to do it every day so... I do! I have a journal (Dapper Foxes from Peter Pauper Press. I highly recommend them because their notebooks are all really cute and very high qulity for decent prices. My awesome fox one is almost full so I just ordered a new one from them for 13 dollars, which is one of their more expensive books! Dapper Foxes and others like that one are 8 or 9 dollars, I think!) that I've written at least a few sentences in every day since November 19th or 20th of last year and I can tell you honestly that my writing has gotten so much better in just these few months! My ability to write on-demand has improved the most, but my critical writing and essay writing skills have developed as well! I definitely recommend setting aside 5 or 10 minutes every day just to write in a journal or to type out a paragraph or two about your day. After about a month it'll turn into a habit!

You can type any date in plain English like in 3 weeks or next month.
You can also type in recurring due date like every day, every week and every month.
