    Over the last couple of weeks I've had a real mental shift happen (for the better). I'm making small changes one by one to try and get myself to a better place.

    As someone who has successfully avoided exercise for a while, I've made some decent progress. Starting is always the hardest part. Now I'm a least getting on the treadmill every day, I've got the momentum to keep going.

    I managed to reduce the food intake in the evenings and often I don't eat anything after early supper. Started drinking some cinnamon/honey concoction my mum talked me into taking. Some of these days I may even go vegan because bakery products are a pure killer 😃

    i'm going to really cut back on buying sweets with in the next month . The job is stressing me out which makes me eat sometimes. it's hard to get away from it even at home i have to deal with my mother which she doesn't make things easy.

    Things that might impact my weight today:
    1- Did you eat any snacks yesterday?: No, but I did chew 2 packs of gum.
    2- Did you exercise yesterday?: Yes

    Note: I feel that my results today deserves a bit of explaining. How was that I was able to drop 1.5 lbs since yesterday? My body fat and muscle mass have also improved significantly since yesterday. Well yesterday I had to take my car in for servicing so this threw off my eating schedule. While I waited 6 hours for my car to be serviced, I drank only one cup of tea (at Starbucks). When I got home around 7pm, I ate oatmeal and then 3 boiled egg whites which I normally eat much earlier in the day. This meant that I was too full to eat my evening meals (a bowl of steamed broccoli and spinach followed by a salad a few hours later). So I unintentionally skipped out on two meals. Also, while I was out yesterday, I bought two packs of gum. I rarely chew gum but like a crazed chain-smoker, I smoked chewed both packs (28 pieces of gum) in one day! I think this (skipped meals and maybe even the chewing gum) accounts for the big fluctuation in my numbers today. I kinda feel like going out and buying some more chewing gum if it helps me to lose weight like this. Just kidding. Today, I plan to be eating normally again and the numbers will probably reflect that tomorrow (i.e. weight gain), but for now I'll just enjoy the improvement. :smile:
