    Wednesday, October 18

    1. I left work a little early to pick up C and two friends from Brownies. We grabbed a pizza and made it to soccer practice with enough time to have a picnic dinner of pizza with a gaggle of giggling girls!

    2. I ran into the school while the girls were practicing soccer and noticed C's teacher was still there at 7pm. Even though she is probably in her 50s, this is her first year with a classroom and she is struggling to get it all done. (having 29 8-year-olds in her class does not help!) I had a quick chat and offered some help.

    3. A came home after a two hour hockey practice very sweaty and tired. He has his first game of the year on Friday. I'm excited for the games to start!

    1. I got an appointment out of town done in a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes one will take longer than another.

    2. Treating myself to Dairy Queen for lunch. I don't do that very often and I think the last time I had fast food was last year in the fall, so if it's once a year, that's not bad. I refuse to go to McDonald's, though.

    3. I caught up with some things on the dvr. I hope to do some of that again today, although reading is on the list of things to do. And laundry. And floors.

    To choose happiness when I wake. I now am trying to stimulate my mind and body soul again. I will never be the same person, and after all the pain and truma , i have different values on myself and others. To not feel dread is not a choice , its a process that is quite phenomenal. After you go through the motions after trauma , your will comes back . I am greatful for this moment as a healing process is in force ,
    I will stick with my list , consistently making sure a commit and reach motivation for each task. Today i have read, studied, been greatful, listed three things that makes me happy, my things to do will follow this afternoon. I will try to break down my list weekly , consistently creating new habits and thought processs. One thing i learned with truma is that if you try to carry to many eggs in one hand they will fall and break. I now try to limit my battles and triumphs.
    Got to sort out some decluttering this afternoon. However one thing at time . ..

    missed yesterday again so here goes:

    1. working a Distress Line Shift

    2. after a week off, catching up at work in one area

    3. Being able to see my wife after her shift even if only for a hug and I kiss before I went to bed

    1. I spent four hours at work not doing much of anything. All the excitement was the day before. I did make an appointment for Monday, though!

    2. I finished up more laundry (it's never ending..you'd think we wear clothes every day or something). I got the dishes done. Today I think I need to work on floors after I get home from an away appointment.

    3. General Hospital! How can two Jasons have the same memories? One of them is a clone, I swear.

    Tuesday oct 17. 2017:

    1. My weight went up but I did not give up on losing weight

    2. Donated my weight loss books that I have read and didn't want to read again. Now someone else can enjoy them

    3. Drank lots of water today
