    Did pretty good this week... made Grilled Italian Sausages with Nectarine Mostarda again, this time some of it improvised from the original recipe, and made Arugula Steak Salad with Summer Squash and a Roasted Red Pepper Sauce.

    I want to cook because sometime I need to do a food in my house and I don´t know to prepare food. I think to cook is more difficult for me is to mix the ingredients.

    Made chicken with tomatoes, summer squash and kalamata olives with gluten free orzo the other night- a keeper recipe

    Made sausage with polentia and peppers/onions tonight....eh.....was ok but not doing again.

    I made dinner tonight. Haven't done that for a while. It only took about 15 minutes, it usually takes alot longer. Mince flour wraps with salad. Mm. Had three- naughty Stephanie, although that's pretty standard for me.

    Made a self-improvised recipe: Gluten-Free Stroganoff

    Used 1.5 lbs of stirfry beef
    Mushrooms
    1/2 onion
    1/4 c Savignon Blanc wine
    1 tsp dry mustard
    1 box Pacific cream of mushroom soup (GF-can get on Amazon)
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 c sour cream
    Parsley flakes
    Barella Gluten Free penne pasta

    Salt and pepper on meat, cook meat in olive oil or butter, when mostly done add onions and mushrooms and more salt and pepper. Mix dry mustard into wine and pour over meat mix. Let it cook down a bit. Turn heat down add cream of mushroom soup and bay leaf and mix well. Let simmer. Cook Barella gluten free pasta. When close to done, stir in sour cream and parsley flakes. Serve over pasta. Serve with big green salad.

    Cooked Asian Lettuce Wraps tonight- recipe was eh, but some good prep techniques of the system were pretty good.

    Today I made Grilled Italian Sausages with Nectarine Mostarda and Sauteed Greens! Mostarda is a chutney-like Italian condiment, made with fruit that is slow cooked in a mustard-infused blend of seasonings. The greens were mustard greens.....so good!!

    Took a cooking class in Vicenza, Italy while visiting. I learned some techniques for cooking veggies, as well as how to make a perfect cup of Italian coffee!
