I'm keeping up with the monthly to do lists which I also split into weeks and I have found that it helps me get stuff done. I like the idea of doing "first things first" as I often put off the niggley little jobs that take the shortest amount of time. Don't know why. Laziness probably. So I do find that having them down to tick off helps.

Daily Exercise / Steps - Not so good. I often forget to fill this in last thing at night.

Slowly ticking off the movies I want to watch too and I try to watch 3 new films a week. Last week I watched Dream a Little Dream, Cry Baby & The Lone Ranger. I enjoyed them all.

Just learned about this system, and I've set up an online bullet journal for myself (I'm much more comfortable with technology than with carrying around a paper book, at this point in my life). I haven't quite gotten in the habit of looking at it every day, though. I'm hoping it will help me be better organized once the fall semester starts).

@summerlark I'm curious about what you are using for an online bullet journal. Could you share it, please?

@spatz I'm using a program called Curio . . . it's hard to describe, but the interface is kind of like a paper notebook, insofar as you can place things wherever you want on the pages. It's a very visual way to organize files, photos, links, etc., which I like. For example, I'm able to create things that look like cork boards, but I can also easily make tables, and move things around in a way that's not possible on paper. Here are some examples: (Apparently, I can only attach one photo per reply, so I'll put #s 2 and 3 in subsequent posts)

        1) A page for one of the courses I teach, where I've organized all the links to course materials (stored in Evernote);
        2) A collection of images for a website related to our D&D campaign; and
        3) My current Bullet Journal set up. It's cool because the meta tools allow me to insert checkmarks, and give things a priority star rating, and I use flags instead of symbols.

It's a really nice interface, very easy to use. The only downside is a) it's not free, but they have a tiered pricing schedule with varying features, and b) it's only available for Mac.

If I weren't using this, I would probably try and put together a system in Evernote.

@summerlark Thank you so much for the wonderful response. That really looks interesting. Sadly, it's Mac only, and I'd need something for my iPad, but it really is a great start.
I tried Evernote and it's not visual enough, but the photos you shared gave me a good starting point to what I'd be looking for.
          Thank you so much!
Edit: BTW, you can insert multiple photos at once by selecting multiple photos on first insert.

@spatz You might look for a corkboard program for iPad - that would give you the ability to set things up much like I've done in Curio. I used to use one called Corkulous, I think? It works great for being able to lay things out visually like this, and you can add photos and text.

@summerlark I love this! Thank you so much for sharing. @spatz thank you so much for asking! I tried using a paper bullet notebook before but it was too messy for me so it bugged me. Lol this is nice and neat.

    Another Fresh Start.
I've set this up again using a book I created using Photobox.

    Pages I currently have

    1. My To Do List for the Month

    2. My Daily Exercise / Total Steps

    3. Weekly to do lists with 5 - 10 things on it. At the end of each week I'm going to do a paragraph on how well I did and what I could improve on.

    4. Movies I need to watch

    5. Films I have watched.

    6. A list of the amendments I want to make in an old book I wrote. This is for a bit of fun really but I thought it would be good for practice.

I don't want to over complicate it with too much as I often forget to fill it in. This way it concentrates on the stuff I want / need to do.

    1. Getting stuff done.

    2. Exercising / Losing Weight

    3. Writing

    4. And Watching More Movies.

    Day one.
I spend alot of time on Pinterest and this was one of the ideas I really want to try. I love making lists and ticking things off anyway but I also have a love of stationary, writing and in particularly journaling so this sounded absolutely perfect for me.
Having done quite well for about 2 months I kept forgetting to update it and eventually I lost interest. I've unsuccessfully attempted restarts this year but haven't managed to stick to it. So like with my lose weight goal I thought the 1st of June would be a good place to start.
Having this site will (fingers crossed) help me stay on track so hopefully this time I won't give up.

You can type any date in plain English like in 3 weeks or next month.
You can also type in recurring due date like every day, every week and every month.
