My partner broke his ankle last weekend and his friends have been so good to him, coming around to cook for him as well as bring take aways to the hospital. He had his surgery yesterday and is being discharged today so this definitely calls for a celebratory hot pot party with his friends to say yay and thanks. Hot pots are definitely the way to go since it's getting much colder these days.

Hi @jadedforever, a hot pot is an Asian style dish where you dunk ingredients (veges, meat etc.) into a boiling pot of broth. I have nabbed an image from Google which is close to what I'm trying to describe. They are good in winter. I actually did have a hot pot party with friends mentioned in the previous post but it was a bit of a fail as I didn't really know the proper way to prepare the broth and everything took so much longer than expected!!! I need more practice!

My parents are going on holiday in about two weeks so it will be a good opportunity for me to host something here while they're away 😆 I envision it being a indoor/outdoor BBQ kind of thing where people can bring their own food to grill on the BBQ and I can provide the bread, salad, potatoes, the basic side dishes. Would be nice!

You can type any date in plain English like in 3 weeks or next month.
You can also type in recurring due date like every day, every week and every month.
