I recently decided to be independent hence I left my home with a single formal shirt and a few set of clothes.
I've been attending some interviews but no luck yet, I've got a few job offers but those aren't my field of interests, I'm so broke like I don't even have money to eat.
    Any tips on survival?
Ps: never been empty stomach for so long and rejected on the same day, unfortunately that was earlier today!...

I feel that moving to a new apartment is to be done first but after receiving news that yet another member of my team is leaving - making it 5 who have left in the past 3 months - I feel gutted that I'm still here but I realise it's not me but the atmosphere, management and the work. The 3 managers are best buddies and very cliquey. They're also quite bitchy men. There's something about the head of the dept. that I just don't like. Perhaps it is the insincerity which I feel masks a lack of tolerance and understanding of people. I'm not a fake person so I find this all very tricky. They're also far too young to be managers.

Not sure what I want to do for work but a more mature, sincere environment is necessary. This is like a cliquey high school full of robots. The age range is too young. No offence to Millennials but the forced extroversion that is required to be in an office that plays loud music all day with people who think blanking other people is acceptable is completely exhausting. I miss more peaceful and personal environments with nice people. I left high school a long time ago.

Applied for 2 jobs. 1 a week appears to be my rate. I am way too slow. You wouldn't think I'd want to leave. Lots of people have left the team. I went to one manager's leaving drinks the other day and he said 'morale is very low' (most of us were surprised he said that) and the conversation made me feel like 'yeh, I am ready to leave'. Certain things make me want to stay. Actually, just 2. One is a boy/man I fancy (I haven't spoken to him apart from saying 'no, go ahead') and the other is the work is varied and interesting and above my comfort zone which is good but terrifying. It's the sort of company that will try to push you to advance and to travel for work etc. I hate everything else.

I applied for my first job yesterday (at about 11pm)! The cover letter was ridiculously long, though so I probably won't get it but it feels like such a relief to just be applying for things.

Excuse the swears but I hate my fucking job. The people are absolutely awful. 1 or 2 are nice which is great but it's full of very bitchy, two faced catty young girls and very snotty guys. It might be because they're all very young but I am extremely affected by my environment. So much so that it might be best if I try to get music production going and start my own business. It would be better for my mental health. There is a job I want to go for but it is not in-line with my 'official' (i.e. pays the bills) career. It would pay better and far more relaxing but I'm not sure if I should. I would also like to live in another country. All I know is that I'm very unhappy here. I hate it.

Currently working at a great place with things like a 401k and health insurance. Let's hope they hire me so for the first time in 10 years, I can know what it feels like to be taken care of.
