Not just fun and relaxing...  — 2 weeks ago

Worth doing!

...but also great for the health of your feet (assuming you get your pedis at a licensed salon or spa with impeccable cleanliness). Helps prevent/correct ingrown nails, discoloration, cuticle damage, calluses, and other yucky possibilities. Also stretches the foot muscles and gives the feet some well-deserved rest and pampering. For those who do not like their feet, a great pedicure can do wonders for their appearance, so pedis can even increase self-esteem. Definitely get them on a regular basis if you can afford them! :)

It was sooooo fun to have my feet done! I think I’m going to do it pretty often now!

I love getting one...  — 3 weeks ago

And yet I never seem to find the time. I need to make sure I get myself a chance to get this done before summer is gone! The trick is telling myself I’m worth finding the time to do this!

don't try this at home  — 3 weeks ago

had good intentions…soaked, removed polish, then came the peeler…over peeled and the right heel is tender. the right wee wee toe bled for hours despite pressure dressings. and the tip of my left middle toe is painful…have to lay off the exfoliation…will let them heal and get a professional pedi before vacation.

I started getting pedicures when I was in 6th grade. I started getting them regularly when I was a freshman in high school. I stopped getting them regularly in November 2007 (a junior in high school). I’m overdue for one right now; my toenails broke really low recently so I need them to grow first, then I’m gonna get one since summer has started now.

This disturbs me slightly.  — 1 month ago

Okay, this is only half about having a pretty color on my toes. My aunt gets her toes done regularly and they look really nice. I, however, do not like feet and am consequently self-conscious at the thought of someone touching mine. I also am very ticklish, so I worry that I will moronically laugh if/when I am massaged. I think this goal would best be accomplished if I went with someone who has gone before.

I like pedicures.

They stay pretty for a week or two..
and if feels sooo good. (they massage your feet and legs, and you’re sitting in this really nice massage chair.. yeaaaaaaaa.)

If I had the money, I’d go once/twice a month.

i did it for the first time when i was pregnant for my son. my belly was so big i had a hard time doing my feet so one day on a whim i had a few thousand dollars in my pocket and decided i deserved to spend 30 bucks on myself and went and got a pedicure. since then ive had 4 or 5 more of them and love each one!

My toes and feet could use sme love. I am thinking that the local beauty school could be ideal, just to get my toes done and my heels smoothed out a tiny bit.
