    Worth doing!

If you want grat jeans go Canyon River Jeans. They seem a little cheap but are just as great as good Lee’s. They seem to shrink just a liiiiitttle bit when you wash them but they still fit fine!!!! I love them!

I started volunteering at Lifeline two days ago, and today I found the BEST PAIR OF JEANS EVER! I’m so happy, and for cheaps too. It’s great for once to find a pair of jeans that fit really comfy, instead of having to suck in or wear a belt cinched in.
    Can’t wait to wear them…tomorrow.

Well, said with more than a pinch of sarcasm, but still.

These new jeans fit me well – which is a lot to say. I’m curvy and, well, bootylicious (ha!) so it’s always been a struggle to find anything that fits all of th relevant areas at the same time.

I also had to realize that the fabric touching my thighs does not mean that the jeans do not fit. Just because I am incredibly self-conscious about them doesn’t mean that others are staring, pointing, and snickering. (At least not usually)

So really it took a lot of trying on, a tailor, and a change of attitude. Now I need to get them in another color.

Took them to the tailor to be hemmed. Can’t even believe I typed that, much less did it.

Found some that fit well in the areas of concern and pretty well in the waist – but they are longish.

If I get them hemmed, this goal can be done.
Don’t want to look like I’m standing in a bucket.

I’ve scoured the web for the perfect jean. The custom route seems scary to me as I’d rather just do it myself. It’s just too bad that “curvy” girl styles out there always look dowdy. Is it so wrong to want to feel like a rocker sometimes?

I need to go shopping with Bonny before she leaves for Alaska. She has the cutest jeans – where did she get them? (Admittedly she has a totally different body shape than I do – but still….) Maybe a trip to San Francisco is in order.
