    Today in my house in Fanling (far northern Hong Kong) the door lady was asking others in the foyer if they spoke English, I knew why; to communicate with ‘me’. I answered back to her in Cantonese that I could speak a little Cantonese then she proceeded to talk and I understood nothing :P

    Oh – if I was semi-fluent.
