I passed my A-Levels — 1 week ago
Worth doing!
It is nice to finally say I have completed my A-Level courses. It has been a tough ride, but I have also learnt many life lessons that I shall not forget.

Dejitaru gave too much, yet not enough
It’s strange really, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Or in this case, my AS-level grades, in my eyes, were absolutely diabolical.
They were as follows:
Computing – E
Mathematics – C
Chemistry – C
Biology – B
Psychology – A
General Studies – A
Now, considering I need at least 3 A’s for medicine, preferably in Maths, Chem and Bio, I’ve failed myself miserably.
I’m scared, really, I don’t believe I can pick it up…
You see, all through my life, I’ve been able to ignore anything bad that’s going on, and just truck away with my work, and I’ve always gotten the best grades.
But now, I have cracked, and I cannot deal with it any more.
I feel like the world’s worst failure, and yet, those grades are not BAD, hell, they’re better than average.
You can’t be a doctor if you’re average. At least not if you live on a council estate, alone, without parents or family, and all you can think about is how much of a failure you are to them.
smazattack chillin.
That I’ve settled for going to ASU instead of someplace I really want to go, because I’ve run into money issues. However, I also do believe that going to ASU best suits my needs. So I won’t complain, I’ll make the best of it. Let’s just see if I get in now!

i wrote my diplomas which are worth 50% of my final grade. I hope I did ok on them. I went and made my university timetable for next year and I’m getting really excited so I’m really really hoping I will get full acceptance. Wish me luck.

I am removing this because the title doesn’t really fit my goal. Simply I am in university already in a general sense. I was and still aiming for top unis in the world, I will add that to a new goal.
scarlett wonders what to do now
I’m going to take this goal off my list for now, it’ll definitely be added back next year when entrance exams etc. are coming up again. There’s just no point in having this goal on my list at the moment, since there’s nothing I can do about it right now. I’m not giving up on getting into university, certainly not, I’m going to try a lot harder next year, I’m sure I will. :)

I’ve finished my exams! Woooo. They went okay. I know they could have gone better. I just hope my results aren’t too shite. Now I’m just looking forward to summer. Doing nothing all day if I want.
However, my future is uncertain…

I got conditionally accepted. I’m keeping my fingers crossed though.

I know I’m not going to get into university this year, I lost my motivation somewhere along the road, so I haven’t read nearly enough for tomorrow’s (Friday) entrance exam. I’m perfectly okay with that, there’s always next year. :) I think another year off will do me good, actually, I’ll get more time to sort out my head and maybe even do something else than just work (like this year). However, I checked what kind of Literature courses are offered in the open university and I think I’m going to try to get into those, it’d probably help me in the entrance exam next year, too. :)

I got in, but I have no idea what I want to do yet. I’m just taking an undeclared major.
