See my name on the cover of a book

to see your name printed on something other than a computer screen is the most exhilarating feeling in the world

i’ve seen my name on the cover of two books. of course, i wrote, edited and bound the books myself for two major school projects, but they still count. i got 100% on both of them.

the picture is a “rough” manuscript i handed in. i later made a more real book.

Unfortunately this Stephanie James isn’t the real author. I’ve known that Jane Ann Krentz has used my name as a pen name for a while now. One of her early books that don’t mention the name is a pen name was given to me by a friend. I gotta say I don’t mind too much, I just wish she wrote better books!
I wrote to this woman once asking if there was a story behind her choice of this pen name. She probably saw where I signed off and figured I was some obsessive fan, because I never heard back from her=P

I reviewed Software Estimation: Demystifying the Black Art by Steve McConnell and got my name in the reviewers list. Ok, not met my goal but this is a start

I’ve got the book contract, and i’m in the middle of the book, but damn writing a book is a lot of work. But i’ve got an editor who bugs me if i don’t make progress.

I’ve already been in a couple of inside covers, as a copy-editor and such.

I’d be glad to be either the author or the translator of a great work, I think.

My name’s on the cover of 2 books.. if you don’t count foreign translations.

I just self-published my first novel ‘Angelina’s Ghost’. Starting off with publishing it on lulu.com, I went one step further and have it now printed locally. A couple of days ago I received my first copies from lulu. It’s amazing to hold your baby in your hands!!!

Not just worth doing. Much, much more than that!
