i DO LOVE NYC ,AND I WANNA MOVE THERE
I was born there and was raised close by. I got accepted into a NYC college and moved into an apartment with several friends. I can honestly say that it is fantastic. It’s not just the stereotypical things that make New York City amazing, but more like there are so many things there to do, you’re never at a loose. People here are incredibly nice, you really can’t ask for much more in a city. It’s expensive if you live in Manhattan, but totally worth it.
I move on Monday 5/19. I am packing little things but will come back for my furniture and extras later in the year. The main goal is to be up there and put into jobs just to get some income flowing. After that it will be time to look for a job with benefits so I can afford rent. I am going to miss being home but I have to break outta here and make something of myself or as I like to say start living again!
Moving to NY will be really hard for me, mainly because my family is going to be really mad at me for moving so far away. I really really really really want to do it though. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life, and even though I’ve lived in the big cities here, it’s still not the same. There is just something about NY. I can’t get it out of my head, and I’ve pretty much been obsessed with it lately. Should I do it? I don’t even know anybody that lives there. I just feel like it is something I have to do.
I’ve never been outside the western hemisphere of The Unites States. I’ve never been even close to New York. All I really wnat to achieve is to experience something. Explore into a place where it is so different, so loud, so intriguing into many ways that is inexpressible. Just to walk into a large crowd and and look up and see the hugest buildings and the best areas to shop, to watch or BE in broadway show, to explore life in a different and fast-paced perspective would be nice. I hopefully will also love NYU. I hope and pray that I move to New York City on day.

it would be amazing.
to see the lights.
the people.
the buildings.
and above all,
just leave everything behind, and forget everyone.
get a new name.
a new fucking face.
i only wish.
I’m slowly dying.
If i’m still here by the time i’m twenty, im pretty sure i’ll allready be dead.

I wan tthis to be in my very near future. First step I think will be to move to Portland or Seattle and get a little money in the bank and some experience under my belt. Then I think i will need to live there. I don’t think thats where I want to end up but I would like ot try it out.
As long as I can remember I wanted to move to NYC. I moved to the US … oh well South Florida not really the true USA. The Cultural, Political, Fashion Capital of the World still is on my dream. I just visited back there after 3 long years away and the desire was born again … there’s something about the people, the city that fascinates me. It always has even before I had ever set foot there. One day I will have my own peace of the big apple … ;-P
