Who isn’t aware of the importance of drinking eight cups of water daily? But that doesn’t mean we all do it. I personally find it difficult to consume two litres of water on a daily basis. It’s utterly tasteless. After my return from my two and a half month vacation in Korea, there has been an overabundance of barley tea present in our household (probably a Korean thing?) which has since become my staple drink. Honestly though, no one in my family drinks from the tap. We drink from prepackaged water bottles like Evian, Mount Franklin etc. If I were to drink eight glasses worth in water bottles, we’d run out in a few days.

I probably should convince my father to install that water filtering system some time soon.

I’ve always known the importance of water to the human body yet drinking it seems to be a very cumbersome task.

I’m not one of those who think it tastes bad or anything like that. In fact, most water has no taste at all to me. Perhaps that is the problem.

As a remedy to the taste issue, I have started adding fresh citrus fruit to my glass. It’s helping for now, but I’m still not drinking but a couple of glasses a day on most days. I am going to try to drink nothing but water for the next few days. I’m hoping that it will become a habit instead of a chore.

Let’s see how this turns out.

i’ve been drinking 8 glasses of water a day for over two years now and its so worth it. i feel strange when i DON’T drink this much water now. completely recommend this!
