I will now honor my newly found speed and leech myself some movies.

This seems terribly easy to do. I’m currently using BT Junkie to download a copy of Pandora’s Box (a beautiful 1929 Louise Brooks flick). We shall see if it works…

extremely easy. but it kind sucks if you’re not into popular shit. but you’d be amazed as to what you can get on bittorrents. it’s def. worth doing.

People that are into movie/music downloading and want stuff fast… if you haven’t discovered torrenting, it’s amazing and you are missing out on SO much. I cannot even convey to you how much you’re missing out. Stop wasting time with Limewire and other programs where you can’t download anything but extremely popular music from more than 2 sources. LOOK UP TORRENTS.

Bittorrent breaks up a file or set of files into little packets and allows people to upload the packets they have downloaded while they are still downloading the file. It accounts for 35% of all internet traffic, more than all other filesharing programs combined. It has been wonderfully embraced as a legal way of distribution, even though it still is used for illegal downloads. I’d be glad to help anyone who’s curious on finding out how to use bittorrent :).
