Worth doing!
It’s amazing what waking up at 6:20 AM does to my mood throughout the day. Just… amazing. I’m going to keep this up.

jmadlena is now counting the days until July 11th.
During High School I used to fall asleep around one – two AM and have to wake up at seven AM; now I fall asleep around one thirty AM and wake up at eight forty-five AM. I am getting about seven hours of sleep now. I could use a lot more though; try nine!
So I’ve been doing pretty well with this lately. Partly because Tuesdays and Wednesdays I have to be up early for school, and I recently acquired a job that requires me to get up early on weekends! What better time to get up early than on the weekends. Really though, I like it, so thats four days out of the week that I HAVE to get good sleep, and the rest are just easy. I’m really happy that I have been accomplishing this goal.
I was going to bed at no earlier than 2AM even on school nights, but I’ve realized that I can’t do that anymore, I’m taking control. So now I go to sleep before midnight, and wake up between 630 and 8AM.

...so completely against my nature, I don’t know if I’ll ever accomplish it. I’m a night owl…which is a nice way of saying raging insomniac. I’m also way too easily sucked in by late-night junk TV. After staying up late, I wake up late, therefore being late to class and missing it altogether, therefore I’m not tired when “bedtime” rolls around. sigh Where has my willpower gone?
I stay up til like 2 or 3 in the morning and go on the computer cos i cant sleep!!! i really have to try and change this!!!!!! ideas are welcome!!

i am naturally a night owl! i do not like to go to bed early and i guess i started that horrible habit in college! but, now that i’m out of college and starting my career, i’ve had to make myself go to bed early so that i can get up by 6:30 and still function decently through out the day. but actually the going to bed part was easy… waking up is horrible! but i’ve trained myself now, with numerous alarm clocks so that i am able to hold this routine. :) and i do usually feel better overall getting up early.
I’ve definitely been neglecting this goal..it’s going to be a while until I get back on the ball with it. I’m taking a break, but not giving up.
...this hasn’t been working out too well for me. Ever since I moved to Canada, I’m not allowed to work, so I don’t really have anything to get up in the mornings for. Oh, except Thursday mornings when I go volunteer at an animal shelter from 8-12. The husband has to get up early pretty much everyday for work and I wake up with him, but then go back to sleep. And on days he has off he wants to sleep in, but I still wake up earlier than him.
