My marching band did this dance! — 1 month ago
I’m the drum major of a large marching band in PA… I had to learn the Thriller dance, teach it to the 150 members, and be able to perform it in front of large crowds!!! =)

be part of a simultaneous worldwide event in October 2008 to break our world records from last year
I started belly dancing 1 year ago with my 18 year daughter! It has always been on my list of things I wanted to learn and now we both can do it. We had our first performance a few months ago and we danced to “Hips Don’t Lie”. We want to do our next routine to “Thriller” and include some of the original steps mixed with belly dancing…tribal, caberet, any style is good.
I’ve learned part of it, but i’d really like to the learn the whole thing and rock out privately =)

...awesome to learn it. I mean it’s something people recognize. I’ve wanted to learn the dance ever since I saw 13 going on 30. It was a good movie.
Worth doing!
A few girls from my sorority decided to learn the Thriller dance for Greek Week and it was SOOOOOOO much fun! We changed a few things but it was pretty much Thriller anyway you looked at it.
Worth doing!
I remember running home from Jr. High School so I could catch the world premiere of “Thriller” on MTV (back when all they did was play videos).
Taping it, I played it for the rest of the night so I could learn the dance moves. And learned them I did. GREAT FUN!
