Celebrate acccomplishments and success

Starting to see some sales of my non stock photography! Yay! Sold $25.00 worth of images this week.

Small progress but progress just the same.

I get so focused on climbing that next mountain that I forget to sit and think and be grateful/happy that I was successful in climbing this one.

I think it unfortunately carries over to not really celebrating the victories of others. That is a sad and terrible thing to do because everyone needs that little push or validation… and a kind comment from those whose opinions they value.

So two pronged here for me: Celebrate the successes of others and celebrate my own. :-)

For me this year:
- Finished my youth soccer coaching and brought my team to U14 level from U8
- Survived a layoff and received a bonus. That is cool.
- Had my pics bought and used by some big names including Discovery Channel, Oprah.com, CosmoGirl.com.
- Did an interview in a local magazine regarding my surf/skate clothing start-up

For celebrating others… I will not post that here. I will just tell them in person. :-)
