    + Stops at: City Hall (Chambers St), Canal, Spring, Bleeker, St Marks, Union Square, E 23rd, E 28th, E 33, Grand Central (E 42), E 51, E 59 (even with central park), E68, E77, E86, E96, E103, E110 (end of central park)

    Other info: traffic on even streets goes east

    Things I know without having to look at a map:

    + The L runs along 14th street, stopping at 1st Ave, 3rd Ave, 4th Ave (Union Square), 6th and 8th.

    + Streets run East-West, and the numbers rise as you go North

    + Avenues run North-South, and the numbers rise as you go West

    + The avenues (and the city) are divided at 5th avenue.
