Do something different every month in 2008

This month was our Eid, We had our big vacation Thanks Allah. So what we did in that vacation for different was that we went to my late Grandfather’s house, in the country. We went all, me and my husband, my sister and her husband, My parents, my uncle, my aunts, my cousins…all..
It was a lovely day, we enjoyed it very much, it feels soo great to fell that u r back to ur home land..ur roots..

This month was Ramadan, our Holy Month. So in this month what we really did for different was that we met our friends twice, one was at Hossam’s house for Iftar, and the other was in our apartment, for dinner. They were both really very nice.

We did nothing this month, unfortunately. I feel really bad about it, but there is nothing to do now. I hope September will be better.

We went to Ras Sedr, on the Red Sea. My parents came from Dubai, and I went with them, and my sister and her husband, and my nephew. It was a beautiful vacation. We had some real nice time, but Ahmed couldn’t come, he had to work, and I missed him sooo much

Ok, This month we couldn’t do anything. But actually, we moved, to DreamLand. ANd that took the whole month. It was soo tiring, but we finally did it :))

Okay, This month happened 2 things, one was planned for, and the other was a surprise..:)
*My cousin got engaged !!!! It was a surprise for all of us. He has been around for a long time saying that he is not planning to get married at all, then suddenly, we r invited to his engagement party. His bride is sooo beautiful, and the party was great, and we had a great family gathering…ANd here is a picture of all of us..
*And this month was my Birthday, yesterday. Well, we went out for dinner, Ahmed took me to my favorite Italian restaurant, Jonny Carino’s, we ate delicious pastas, And…He got me a new gold band..instead of my old one, well it was not that old, but he got me the new one, “Bvlgari”, I’m sooo happy

We went to Alex again, actually the North Coast, Hilton Borg Elarab Resort, to spend 2 days. We’ve never been there together.I dreamed of a nice quiet vacation, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. The weather was very bad. There was a storm, a very bad storm, with dust every where. We couldn’t leave the room. And then the day we were leaving, the weather was great. What can I say?? It’s my bad luck.

Now this month’s something was really a surprise !! My husband has an uncle who has been living in Germany for 25 years. He rarely comes to Egypt. But this weekend he was here. He took all of Ahmed’s family, including me, to dinner in the Hilton :), with a terrific view of the Nile, then he took us in a boat trip in the Nile. It was fantastic. It’s amazing how we see the Nile everyday, and we never think about a boat ride.
It was awesome, we laughed, we danced, We really enjoyed out time, and the fantastic views of the Nile.

My father is here in Egypt on vacation, as he works in Dubai. So he took us, me, my mother, my sister and my 9-month nephew to spend a couple of days in Alexandria. It’s been like a year since I’ve been there in Alex. I missed it so much. It was beautiful, the sea, the sun, the shopping :) and sure all the delicious food.
And mostly, i enjoyed staying with my sister and her little boy soo much.

Yesterday, 26 Jan, was our first anniversary, me and my beloved husband. It was a wonderful year thanks God.
So, we went to that Lebanese restaurant. It’s our first time to go to that place “Four Seasons Hotel”. It’s sooo luxurious, sooo beautiful. And we picked that restaurant with its Beautiful NIle View. It was soo Romantic with the candles and the light music, and the view. And the food was extraordinary delicious. It was an amazing night.
