but it’s BORING to look at…it’s just a text doc, no pictures, needs bigger text and some color. Sigh.

I didnt’ figure I’d have to become an html programmer to do this, but it goes against my grain to be less user-friendly than I might be. I found one of my blogs, this one I’ve never used, “The House of Too Many Books” and that’s got a nice look to it, but I’d just as soon do it at the web page, but that means I have to do all the fricking work of formatting the pages so that they aren’t static and boring.

    Sigh.

Along the way while looking for graphics, I found a history of piggy banks which is (believe it or not) interesting! Here:

and that worked fine. When I tried to save my open office word document to it, it lost all the formatting for the text, but not the table.

So, the answer is to make pertinent part of the discussion into a table as well!

Okay. I have LOTS of “how to be frugal” books, starting in the 1800s to present. Many of these are different ways to present the same ideas over and over and over again.

So, I’m going to do reviews of these and post them somewhere, for both my own edification (I forget who’s got what, where) and so that people can stop buying (and rebuying) the same stuff over and over, myself included!
