I STARTED LESSONS LAST WEEK AND I BOUGHT A BLUE BOW ! SOUNDING CRAPPY SUCKS AND THATS WHAT I HAVE TO ENDURE IN ORDER TO SOUND GOOD AT SOME POINT.

Well.. THIS SITE DOESN’T TELl YOU HOW TO PLAY THE FIDDLE, DAMmIT. and i want to learn the fiddle i can only playafew notes of it.

I’ve been fiddling since I was 10 (34 long years) and I love it! I started out with New England Contra Dance fiddling. In 3 years I was taking Greek Improvisation…bluegrass in college, as well as Raga and Gamelen music through my degree in Ethnomusicology. After college it was Bluegrss, Celtic and Klezmer fiddling. I’ve been teaching since ‘86 (20 years!). Mostly adult students, some home-schooled kids. Fun!
