Learn to recite a long, filthy phrase in italian, full of the most disgusting multi-syllabic expletives, lots of ladies of the night, body parts, animals, strong odours…you know.
If someone questions you about it, tell them (with as straight a face as you can muster), that it is from Dante’s Divine Comedy. Yes, at times of stress you find that quoting elaborate medieval italian poetry very cathartic.
Then, simply walk away, with a faint smile playing on your lips.

I want to be able to use the more arcane and comical profanities, the kind of swearing that stuns and disarms.
If anyone has vocabulary and/or delivery tips to share, please add to the comments of this posting.

...a lack of vocabulary.
But you can always tell these people to f*%k off.
I have a book on swearing in lots of different languages. But I prefer to talk to people to make sure the pronounciation is just right.
