hi, tht would a fantastic job to learn british accent
Worth doing!
It all came quite quickly after making a commitment to train my speech. But now it comes almost naturally, which was wicked quick… being less than a week.
All can say is for those who are thinking about learning to speak with an English accent, know that the best way is to practice every time you open your mouth. (Well, the best scenario would be to move to England.) Just watch a lot of British movies or British comedy.
My goal is not complete of course; the practice continues. I believe it could get a lot better than it is now. However I deem it done.
Worth doing!
I’ve always been embarrassed about the way I talk, never wanting to hear a playback or speak amongst a crowd. Others don’t seem to mind the awkward deepness, but I do.
While playing around with dialects I realized speaking in an English accent takes away the deep awkwardness I hate so much. I have started practicing a few days ago at the boy scout camp I work at. I sound ridiculous at times, especially around those I know well, but things get better each day. I just do not want to get disheartened. And I wonder how long until it all comes naturally.
So for acting purposes and just the pure fun of it, I want to learn how to do plenty of English accents. I can definitely do a British one and plenty of people on the street have bought that I’m British. People in stores have even asked me where I’m from then I’ll say something in American accent every now and then but keep with the idea that I’m British. But I’m not sure how real it sounds to an expert ear. For now, I’ll continue going out with my friend and pulling people’s legs. But please, I’m not one of those people who’s actually going to go around acting like I’m British or something, like for real.
