get a puppy

I’ve heard puppies are a lot of work… THEY ARE! I recently got a lab/beagle mix and he is very difficult to take care of, but definetly worth it. I now want a little ankle biter dog: I’m not sure which breed yet. I think I could take care of her very well, but we’ll see what the future holds.

our family is getting a puppy chow-chow in a year.or more. or less. i dunno they are cuuuuuuuuuute. i have 3 cats though meh :/. my kitten-ish Seraphina (two are mine. one is my moms. got Sera on my 6th bday)might treat it like odie. lol. go sera!lol.

this dog is soooo cuteee!

His name is Baby Bear, and he’s 3 weeks old. He’s named Baby Bear because he looks just like a baby bear cub. The best part is that he loves me! He fell asleep on my chest, and he made sad noises when I had to go away.

We’re hopefully getting him around my birthday (September 15.)

I thought my next pet would be a kitten, but things work out differently, eh? I hope he likes the house.

my boyfriend has wanted a malamute forever. I was looking on craigslist and came across a lady who was selling some in a near by town, so I call her and told my boyfriend about it. I have never in my life paid for a dog, all of them have been free. She was selling them at a discounted price because they had already been spoken for, but then the people fell through with the deal. She decided to let them go at a cheaper price since they weren’t getting any younger or smaller. We brought bruiser home as 10 weeks old and he weighed 28 pounds. He is now 6 months old and weighs 83 pounds. Bruiser’s dad weighed 140 and his mom weighed 120, we expect Bruiser to be over 100 pounds. Talk about stubborn, I had no idea what I was getting into with a malamonster, but thankfully my boyfriend had done tons of research and continues to talk to other malamute owners via forums and such. I have also never had a dog that didn’t bark. He makes wookie noises like chewbacca off of star wars, and he Wooo’s. It’s very cute. Not so cute when he howl’s at 6 am, but I have learned to sleep through it.

We got a new addition to the family a few days ago. Lockie is a 14 week old Labrador/Staffy mix.

We adopted him from a great organization that saves pets due to be put down at the pound. But i dont understand how anyone could not want this gorgeous little dog!

We’ve been having lots of fun playing with him and training him up. He has boundless energy but is very smart so he’s learning fast. He adores his food!

I just love him to bits!

Don’t buy from a pet store which often gets their dogs from puppy mills. Don’t even buy from a breeder. Go to your local humane society and pick out the one that needs you most, and know that you played a role in allowing that puppy to live. Believe it or not…the dog will know!!

Well I just filled out my forms for my new apartment in September, which I’m renting during my time at college. It sucks because it says on the form that pets aren’t allowed…. That means no puppy for the next year or two :(

It will happen eventually though!!
