get rid of all my clutter

there’s probably still some lurking in my storage unit, but my mindset now is that clutter goes away ASAP and doesn’t survive for long around me. So, when I finally do get all my stuff in one place it will be clutter free as I go through each box.

I’m marking this goal done when my personal challenge is done, because that’s the only clutter that affects me right now. Every piece of clutter that has survived in the storage unit will be dealt with quickly and efficiently, because I will not keep it around if it is classified as such, as I come across it.

at Deni’s apartment!!! :D So far, I can honestly say I did a better job at decluttering than I thought I did when I moved out of the house. Having no clutter is a foreign concept to me, so this is kind of cool that I will have none here.

I want to be able to say that all of it is gone! I’ve got a whole new set of stuff to go through now that stuff is out of storage…and then I want to work on the stuff that is in storage, too.

but I’m as close now as I’ll ever get to being with this goal. My car has stayed clutter-free, my papers are filed away, I got rid of excess cards/notes/letters, and I’ve gotten rid of excess possessions a great deal.

I dedicate my wonderful progress and transformation to DJ, he’s been the main inspiration of this goal. And, my life is forever changed with my new attitude toward clutter.

I’ve gotten rid of quite a lot of clutter today…still more to come, though. I can’t rest until this is completed, I’m afraid!

for this goal. At the outset of this goal, I thought it was a nice idea and would be something admirable to do. Little did I know how much work it would be. Now (as DJ’s so kindly pointed out the time reference of this goal), over a year later, it’s become an obsession of sorts. Kind of an obsessive-compulsive tendancy that I hate to actually do, but feel the need to do. I’ve always made fun of people (not evilly or maliciously, mind you) who are neat freaks, but now I think I’m trying to become one of them! I don’t know, it just feels like I’m in The Twilight Zone or something. This is just something I never anticipated with this goal. I don’t intend for this goal to survive unaccomplished for very much longer.
