I wrote an entry here before, but it disappeared immediately after I wrote it, so we’ll hope this one works better.
Let’s see…well, I’m home for the summer after freshman year at college (managed to avoid the 15, but I did regain anything I had lost initially with the change and all, way more active at school than at home actually), and my goal for the summer is to lose 15 lbs, 20 being the real target but 15 being the more attainable goal.
I know I can do this if I want to, it’s just a matter of applying myself. I seem to get all fired up and really try to make a positive change, but then I lose steam and end up back where I’ve started. I can’t seem to put forth a consistent effort at it.
I have, however, been able to keep with some of the little changes I’ve made, such as drinking more water and trying to eat more veggies and stuff (mostly as snacks) and less processed stuff. We’ll see where this takes me in the next week or two.
Anyone have any tips to help me be more consistently striving towards my goal?
