Got a drumset for free, so now I’m practicing. Compared to playing the guitar, it seems like a lot of noise, but not bad :-)

My body has been feeling as if my mind is in charge of an underachiever for too long – this is much better now :-)
Been exercising on a daily basis for 5 weeks and it shows. Got rid of the fat, put on some muscle. Currently: 16% body fat, 79 kilos at 1,87m – so that’s not so bad, is it? (on the other hand, I had never been fat, far from it: I seem to have an over-effective metabolism. I had been pursuing a scorched-earth policy towards snacking but had been thin as a rail anyways ;-) ).
I’m not quite there yet, but hey, I’m on my way… my health is much better and so is my attitude towards life :-)
Done. It has not made me sick (and hopefully won’t in th e future) and just tastes great. Steak… mmmmhmmmmmm… steak…
well, basically I have done this… currently I’m on parental leave with my son, and he’s definitely cutting down my sleeping time… BUT: I fall asleep as soon as he’s in bed (most of the times in front of the TV).
I received my ph.d. on April 30th, 2008 :-)
Took some time, but I stuck to the schedule and finally did it!!!
I just can’t believe it!
A friend showed me pictures of dorodango and they look amazing! I definitely have to try this!
Ha! Was too busy to write anything new – because I went jogging!
I’m getting there…

You have to read lots of books about buddhism, I guess, to become perfect in this task ;-)
Whenever I’m in a bad mood, music is the Great Escape. I’ve been neglecting playing the guitar for some time and am now taking it up again.
Went trekking today, beautiful weather when we set out, heavy rain and thunderstorms when we went down the mountain.
Oh, and our son meanwhile has about 10 kilos – so I can call this “exercise” :-)
It seems, sarcasm, cynicism and irony have gotten the better of me since hospital (now 4 years ago!). Time to change.
It’s just getting harder and harder to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle.
With a little perseverance you can get things done without the blind adherence that has conquered some.
