I’ve never put anything on a dating webite. I still don’t have the balls to contact anyone. It seems a bit scary. Maybe someone will contact me. No luck yet, but we’ll see.
And it had a roll of unexposed kodak Verichrome pan 120 film in it! Hopefully it’ll still be good, I’m not getting my hopes up though.
Today I was thinking about what I’d tell one of my professors since I didn’t have my assignment done. I thought I’d tell them that I had it at home but didn’t bring it for some reason. Then I started thinking “that would be a lie, and I can’t lie anymore”. I still made a bit of an excuse, but at least I’m thinking about my lying more.
I know what I think it means. Everyone has a different idea though, so I guess I can only do what I feel is right. I think I’m doing good so far.
I visited Chicago a while back. I brought along my good old Yashica A TLR. This picture was taken with that camera. I have since gotten rid of that camera. But! I recently purchased a Yashica D TLR, so I will soon be able to carry a camera along with me! Carrying around these old TLRs is so much fun. They don’t need batteries, which is awesome. I don’t want to carry around a handheld light meter, so I’m left guessing exposure, but I use b&w film, usually plus-x or tri-x, which has pretty good latitude. fun stuff.
I’m gonna guess a lot of you haven’t heard this one before…I am a 23 year old virgin. I know, I know. My question is, how big of a turn off is this for you ladies? I’m not a creepy guy or anything, I’m quite normal. I just feel it’s important for me to wait until I’m in love. It’s not like I couldn’t have had sex before, I just haven’t. Didn’t seem right. I worry about this though. Would this scare a girl away?
Just reading over some old entries. I’ve since sold the calumet. It just wasn’t working for me. I love the 4×5 format, but I didn’t have the money or equipment to properly process the negatives. I’ve been working on my designs for a 4×5 though. I’ll get back on it. Medium format works fine for me now though.
Learning HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Already know Photoshop and Illustrator. Still gotta figure out all that PHP, Javascript, MySQL, and stuff. I’m getting there though. I think I know enough make a website and get it online, but I want to learn more so I can make a really nice website.
When I say try, I mean I’m open to the idea again. Never been in love. For some reason in the past I’ve fought the idea. Maybe just trying to avoid getting hurt. I’ve still been hurt though, so I might as well stop fighting it. I’m not actively looking right now, but if something comes along, I think that would be wonderful.
I’ve discovered the Office. It’s just so funny. I can watch it online though, so I suppose I don’t really need a TV. TV is hard to give up!
Graduate in May of 09!!!! I’ll have a B.A. in studio art, emphasis in photography. What am I going to do with that degree? No idea. Maybe go back to school. I don’t even know where to start looking for jobs. Who knows. Any ideas?
I’ll be graduating in the spring! I always felt sort of pathetic for living at home until I’m 23, but thinking about it now, waiting until I graduate to move out has been a really good idea. I haven’t needed as much money so I’ve been able to concentrate on school instead of working so much. Sure, it’s been annoying, especially considering I have 4 sisters and my parents all in one house. I am pretty excited to get my own place though (once I find a job or course).
So far it’s been about 5 days. Hasn’t been so bad. The only problem is that everything we have in my house is full of sugar. I’ve been eating a lot of almonds and apples and stuff. Let’s just hope it will last this time.
My sister just got a job at snap fitness, it’s a 24 hour gym. Since I get a discount and since it’s summer and I have no classes, I’m going to start lifting. I also bought some whey protein to take. Hopefully by the end of the summer I’ll have some muscles!
I’ve always had friends, I don’t know what I was thinking when I put this up. I must’ve been depressed about something.
a calumet cc-400 off ebay. Need a lens for it though. I’m not giving up on building a view camera, it’s just too hard right now. I don’t have a place to work on it, I don’t have very good tools, the excuses go on. Once school starts up again I’ll be able to use the wood shop there (hopefully). The 4×5 I was working on was actually going pretty well, but there were a few crucial cuts that needed to be made that I couldn’t do with my tools. Anyway, I can’t wait for my new view camera to come!
when I was in community college. It was really neat. I had a painting of a cow skull or something. I’d really like to be in something like that again, except this time for my photography.
