How I did it: I followed the website recommended and it helped, I put up motivational posters and it helped, I told a dermatologist and got medication, I washed my face twice a day. But really, it came down to not giving up. I know I have days when I'll fall back, and I just kept at it until I slowly stopped. Read how I did it…
How I did it: If I didn't want to do it, I would have removed it. I was worried it might be a "should" rather than an actual want. I had random motivation and followed it. Turns out that 11 years of training stays with you, even three years without regular practice! Read how I did it…
After nearly ten years of being chained to this habit, it is no longer part of my routine or a stress release. My face is clear and, although the effects are there (scars), my face looks better than it has in a decade. I am so proud of myself :)
I finally got some spine with this. It’s been two weeks and I have not touched my face at all other than two MINOR MINOR setbacks. I’m not necessarily leaving the rest of my body alone, but I have WAY cut back. They say it takes two weeks to cut an addiction and I think it’s true, BUT you need to keep after it. I’m giving it a month before I back off of myself about this. It’s a mental issue as well. You have to make yourself realize how awful it is and acknowledge that this is not what you want to live like.
