I recently completed my first real woodworking project with some help from one of my best friends. I made two wooden letter/keepsake boxes from spalted sycamore and spruce. One was for my daughter to hold letters I write to her (See LettersFromDad.com) and the other was a wedding present for my Bride. Both were very pleased. Hopefully this will be the first of many projects.

Despite many mishaps with the ceremony planning, we have finally tied the knot. Now back at work following a week-long honeymoon to Moorea, French Polynesia, I’m wondering how I ever got along without a wife to take care of me. :-)
