I was born there and was raised close by. I got accepted into a NYC college and moved into an apartment with several friends. I can honestly say that it is fantastic. It’s not just the stereotypical things that make New York City amazing, but more like there are so many things there to do, you’re never at a loose. People here are incredibly nice, you really can’t ask for much more in a city. It’s expensive if you live in Manhattan, but totally worth it.

I know what I like to have. As a college student, I have quite a small amount of expendable income, yet I still seem to spend quite a lot. I have two jobs in addition to various odd jobs, but really I need to work on saving more in the long run.
