How I did it: A contradiction in every corner. India has the richest and the poorest. It has the most beautiful sites, and yet has the dirtiest. It is an extraordinary place to visit. I wish I had more travel time to see more of it's diversity.A friend and I had the mutual goal to visit this enchanting place. How I did it: I had a late start: didn't have the option, resources, or finances to jump into college fresh out of high school.Once I did start, I had to do things part time. Sometimes I would take 1-2 courses and work 2-3 jobs at a time. Sometimes I would take up to 6 courses (I would get fits of motivation to get it over with) and still work full-time (definitely affected my grades).I had to make a degree change half-way through, and this cost me tim… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Took a drive to an area hangar that offered lessons.Watched an instructional video, listened to instructor's lesson, had briefing about the plane, signed life away with waivers, and geared up.I can't even explain the different levels of various emotions. The waivers make you doubt that you will live past the experience, the flight gives you just enough time to work on your nerves, the staff (pilots/instructors) takes pleasure in your fear… Read how I did it…
