Made my first shot at this, for a end-of-year formal banquet at my college. (If they didn’t want steampunkers, they shouldn’t have said the theme was “victorian”. ;) ) I liked the results, and I’m especially pleased with the goggles/hat combination (I’m the one standing on the far left of the photo), but unfortunately the skirt and boots I wore did not belong to me but to the friend I mentioned in my last post, so I can’t call this quite checked off yet.

I’m thinking of the plate I carved, and I think I can label this done. Sadly, although my teacher made a very kind gift of a carving knife when I left for university, I have no sharpening stones – so it’s kinda useless right now. Oh, well.
