There’s so much stuff that people think of necessary to everyday life that I just don’t need. Just the basics. Here’s what I don’t need: 1. a camera phone- I just need a regular cell phone, who needs a camera. 2. a big fancy car- just something simple. 3. a television. 4. a bunch of fancy clothes- all I need is a few t-shirts, a jacket, 2 or 3 jeans, and some nicer clothes for work. 5. video games, they just don’t do anything for me. 6. a super awesome house- just something small, an aparment would even work well for a while. 7. bling. seriously, why would anyone need that.
Here’s the things that I do “need”, that are kindof expensive, and not totally necessary- 1. A decent mac, I do graphic design and photo editing and stuff, so I like to have a good computer. Thinking about a macbook pro after leapord is released. Also need the necessary software and periphrials (printer, photoshop, etc.) 2. a dSLR camera. good old pentax *ist dl. Don’t need anything super fancy, just something that takes pictues. Probably upgrade to a k10d sometime. 3. Good Running shoes. 4. my ipod, but just the smallest capacity nano- I don’t watch videos on it. I have a 1st gen 1 gig right now, that’s more than enough. it’s only for running. 5. obviously a car, I don’t like in a big city, and school is about 45 min away. but just something simple.
I think that’s pretty much it, besides the obvious stuff, shelter, food, blah, blah. If anyone can think of anything else that’s not needed, please comment. I’m sure there’s millions of other things we don’t need.
