move out.

I’ll be graduating in the spring! I always felt sort of pathetic for living at home until I’m 23, but thinking about it now, waiting until I graduate to move out has been a really good idea. I haven’t needed as much money so I’ve been able to concentrate on school instead of working so much. Sure, it’s been annoying, especially considering I have 4 sisters and my parents all in one house. I am pretty excited to get my own place though (once I find a job or course).

my mom would be really sad. I don’t want to do that to her, but I need to get out on my own. My mom wants me to stay at home until I graduate college. The only problem is, that’s in 2010! I just can’t stand the thought of being stuck here for three more years. It’s really depressing. I’ll be…24 then. 24! I need to get out. Maybe after I save up a bit more $ and get a better job.

All my friends now live on their own. I’m the only one still with his parents. I don’t just want to be on my own though, I want to be independent. My friends couldn’t get by if it weren’t for their parents. They don’t pay for their cars, insurance, phones, etc. I want to be responsible for all of that stuff. And they all think they’re so independent, psh. The only reason they want to be on their own is so they can get wasted every night. I want to be on my own because I feel that I should be, not because my parents wont let me do stuff. I’m not bitter though. I’ll just keep working on it.
