I’m teaching Gifted and Talented this month. I have a fantastic group that I’m working with, of 52 4th and 5th graders. They’re absolutely amazing, and I’m thinking that Gifted/Talented might be a fun career path to follow.

I just pulled up my file in the dept office. I have completed 215 hours of classroom observation and 6 education classes. I’ll get another 100 hours or so over January and 2 more classes in the spring. Only 1 1/2 years til student teaching time!
