just had a test today and passed with very little study!
it was about customer service and complaints handling.
i memorised the whole six steps to complaints handling while driving to tafe haha. i’m impressed.
it wasn’t a very hard test, i got 36.5 out of 40.
yay!
jess has written 5 entries about this goal
i had to resit my first assignment,
as did a lot of people in my class, but still i was disappointed.
i really hope i pass this time, otherwise i’m screwed.
and on thursday i have to hand in my workbook up to page 91…which is has taken me frickin forever to do, and i’m not even finished yet.
i still have to do some stupid itineraries.
plus i also have a map test and fact file test on asia.
all this work and i only have 2 classes a week.
next term it goes up to 4 i think.
i’m so glad i’m not doing fulltime.
sometimes i wonder if this is really what i want to do.
i think it’s more the prospect of travel that i want to do.
i just can’t shake the feeling that i’m destined for greater things than being confined to a desk all day everyday.
but thats what a full time job is right.
i want to be able to go out and have fun and live and experience everything the world has to offer,
but i need money to be able to do that.
and no job = no money.
but how can i have time for living if i’m stuck working all the time?
i had my first two tests last thursday!
one was a map test of australia,
in which i got 17/20 (i got mackay and cairns mixed up! arghhh! & perth wrong!)
and the other was a fact file test (open book, haha!)
and i got full marks woot!
now i really need to catch up on homework because i’m quite behind!
and my friend is ahead so i feel bad.
i’m starting a course in july for a certificate III in tourism (international retail travel sales), at tafe. the course goes for 6 months and it’s full-time. i had the option to do either a) that one, b) a cert III part-time 12 months, c) diploma 12 months or d) diploma 18 months. i figured the full-time cert III was probably the best deal, as i’ll still be able to get a job as a travel agent, and if i want to i can work my way up the career ladder. whereas the diplomas were more for the management side of things, which i don’t want to do.
and since i’m starting july it’ll be over by the end of this year, and i can start working at the start of next.
