stop wasting my time on unavailable people

Opportunities are opening up. I need to focus on them.

I feel like I’m moving on, which is a very good thing.

I always tend to fall for people who are unavailable for one reason or another. The latest person is a guy who seems to like me, but he has his life all planned out and is not willing to compromise. He’s a very guarded person… and when he opens up to me it’s amazing, we connect on this intense level that I’ve never experienced before. But most of the time he’s very closed off, to me and everyone else.
Even though we’ve discussed the fact that it won’t go anywhere, I still feel that connection once and awhile (I see him at work three days a week so there’s no completely avoiding him). I need to move on, I need to stop wasting my time on this person, no matter what I feel. He’s simply unavailable and that won’t change. Today he kinda pissed me off because he’s sooo negative about everything. If he just stopped to look at the positive side once and awhile I’m sure his life would get much better. Half the time I think he makes these problems for himself. Anyway, that’s not going to change anytime soon, so I just need to move on and forget.
