Finally began doing this. I enjoyed teaching. I began with two training sessions for new recruits to a company locally. I think the experience will be very helpful for my career in grad school.

Great news! The consultant called me yesterday and we had a chat. I will have to take a four-day training session on some very simple stuff involving Perl/Tcl/Tk.

I hope I get more such assignments. Let’s hope I soon get an assignment to teach VLSI design.

I keep training new guys in work. For example, in my work one needs to be good at Tcl and SKILL. These can be good programming skills to be learned for development of CAD my work.

I am teaching one of these freshers a little tcl in office. Let’s see how things emerge from there…

I’m hoping Shalini comes back telling me that there is one class to be taken soon.

I want to begin teaching some people. I love training junior engineers in my profession and also loved taking some sessions in college.

I would want to see how I do with fresh graduates and see how I would do in a career in teaching.

I know a consultant that needs professional trainers to teach fresh graduates things so that they can start working in industry. I’d like to make a start. I had volunteered to teach the VLSI design flow. But looks like that requirement will come later only. Right now I’ll begin with Perl/Tcl/Tk.

But she has not yet come back to me saying “Take this class” I’m hoping this would happen soon.
