get into university

It was a fucking mission and I’ve cried a lot, but I’ve done it. I’ve have finally got an acceptance letter from Manchester Met Uni, to study Geography and International Politics.

I start on the 22nd. I’m moving in to my room on the 20th. I’m scared and I wish I wasn’t going. :/ I just hope things get better once I’m there.

I’ve finished my exams! Woooo. They went okay. I know they could have gone better. I just hope my results aren’t too shite. Now I’m just looking forward to summer. Doing nothing all day if I want.

However, my future is uncertain…

After what seems like a life time, I’ve finished college. It was underwhelming, but I’m glad to have left. I’m on ‘study’ leave now. Though I’m not doing a great amout of studying.

I take my first 2 exams in 9 days. FRIDAY THE 6TH OF JUNE. Geography in the morning, then my first of 2 English papers. I’m fairly confident, but still shit scared.

In terms of the whole university thing, I have been having many conflicting thoughts and emotions on the subject. I still definitely want to go, but the routes in which I take are up for changing. Plus, the courses I do. I’m very confused.

However, in the mean time, I’m going to study and revise and try my bext in my exams, then I’ll decide on my future life plan when I get my results, which is the 16th of August.

Woo. After a lot of waiting, I’m finally starting to get my offers from univeristies back. I’m still waiting on Newcastle, but I’ve been accpeted everywhere else. Which is great!

The next thing to do, is organise open days and visits, then reply to my offers to say whether I’m going to take up the place. That will be hard. I love all the cities and courses I’ve choosen, but I’m hoping the open days will help me decide.

I just need to get the grades to get in!

I’ve sent off my UCAS form, which is a big load off my mind. Now, I need to wait for some replied and then go to some open days.

Then…Exam time! Aghhh.

I am almost ready to send of my UCAS form. I’ve written my personal statement, had it checked and made the changed. I’ve got my final choices down and all I need to do now is make some last second changes to my course choices and pay.

Then all I have to do is get the grades!
