I am happy to announce that THE web 2.0 genealogy site is already here 1 year ago

The site is really easy to use, and you can email and invite other relations to join in to fill in the gaps in your family tree. Its free and appears secure.

p.s – after seeing that there is a good online alternative for building a Wiki about my family I have decided to mark this goal as “Not worth it” and instead add “research my family tree using Geni.com” to my list.

..to use the current Wikipedia technologies to document ones family heritage in collaboration with other family members.

As for now, I am more interested in knowing how to implement it than actually investing my time on doing this.

I already know of two people whom would thank me a lot for letting them know this is possible.
